♢Noel♢
I instantly shot up. My body felt like it was on fire and before I could do anything I smacked heads with someone and I instantly fell back onto my pillow and groaned clutching onto my forehead.
“Ow…why do you have such a hard head?” I heard my roommate groan.
I looked over to see a blurry version of Austin clutching his for head.
“W-why were you hovering over me?” I asked finally sitting up in bed and hearing a light thump hit my mattress from Yun sliding off my pillow.
“You were breathing heavily and your face was all red. I was just trying to make sure you were okay and weren’t getting sick, but you woke up and we clonked heads.” He answered honestly.
“I’m not sick. I’m sorry for worrying you.” I answered quickly crawling over to the other end of my bed to grab my phone and see what time it was.
“It’s okay. So what was the thing about that you and Elena were invited to?” He asked.
“We were invited to chest club, but we both turned it down.” I answered quickly remember what Elena and I decided upon last night.
‘Your roommates kinda cute from what I can see with your wonderful vision.’ Nori commented.
“No! There will be ABSOLUTELY no hitting on my roommate.” I instantly objected grabbing my glasses case and throwing on my glasses.
‘Why do you have to be so mean.’ I could just see him pouting in my mind.
“I don’t blame you, chest club seems so boring.” Austin chuckled throwing on a t-shirt and a pair of cargo shorts.
“So what are your plans today?” I asked finally deciding to get out of bed.
“I’m going to go to breakfast with some friends then I’m going to go to the club fair to see what they have. How about you?” He asked as he got his socks on.
“Um…well I’m meeting Elena for lunch, but before then and after I’m not really sure what I’m going to be doing. Maybe I’ll come back and write a bit, I haven’t decided yet.” I shrugged my shoulders.
“Maybe we can all meet up later and do something together.” He suggested putting his phone and key in his pocket then clipping his id on a belt loop.
“That sounds good. I wouldn’t mind that.” I smiled.
“Shoot me a text then when your done with lunch with Elena and I’ll let you know where I am.” He waved and headed out of the room.
“Master Noel, is everything okay?” Yun asked and I looked over to see him climbing the mountain of blankets to get over to me.
“I’m fine, thanks for being worried though Yun.” I smiled at him and then pushed up my glasses before getting off my bed and stretching cracking my back in the process.
‘Holy crap your back is loud when it cracks.’ Nori commented.
“That’ll go away after I’ve slept in this bed for a week or two I’m sure. It always happens when I fall asleep in a new bed.” I answered
“What did master Nori say?” Yun asked me tipping his head to the side.
“Oh he said that my back is really loud when it cracks.” I replied going over to my dresser and pulling out some boxers and pair of my favorite skinny jeans that were really flexible and a black tank top that said courage down the left side.
I set them down on my desk and grabbed my contact case that took off my glasses and threw in my contacts.
‘I can see again!’ Nori exclaimed in my head.
“S-shut up. I had my glasses on before you could see just fine.” I huffed and opened the closet door to grab my shower supplies and a towel. “I’m going to go take a shower Yun. Will you be alright in here or would you feel better coming with?” I asked my new little cotton puff friend.
“I’ll come. I can be a look out for you Master Noel, incase anything comes to get you while you’re in the shower.” Yun said confidently and jumped up and poofed into his cotton form.
I slipped on my flip flops and wandered to the bathroom with my towel and shower supplies. The bathrooms were half way down the hall from my room. So I felt back for the people who were in the middle room if whoever was loud enough with what they were doing in here they could more then likely here it.
The bathrooms were huge. All the stalls were on the larger half of the bathroom while there were five showers on the smaller side. The little hall that separated the stalls from the showers. I went into the showers and picked the left end. That was the largest shower out of all of them. There was someone in the shower next to the one I was stripping down to go in. It was nice to know that even with it only being 8 in the morning that I wasn’t the only one up.
I wrapped my towel around my waist and started towards the stalls to go to the bathroom.
‘Wait wait wait wait.’ Nori said quickly and I stopped.
“Yes Nori, what is it?” I asked a bit worried that something bad was happening and I didn’t even notice.
‘Take to steps back and turn to your right.’ He replied and I did so. I sighed to the fact that I was now standing in front of a full body mirror with only my towel around my waist. Nori whistled as he must have been looking my upper body. Even with being out of gymnastics as soon as I was allowed back into the pool I continued to at least do that and run, along with going through the lifting weights for rehab. I kept myself fit, but not so much that I was no longer flexible. ‘Hot damn I knew you were good looking, but I didn’t think you looked like this under all those clothes you wear.’
I flushed and quickly turned on my heals and went to the stalls. “S-says the person who wears more layers then I do.” I commented out loud with out meaning to.

I chuckled at Noel’s response “You shouldn’t say things out loud to no one like that, people might start thinking your crazy.” I commented as he went to the bathroom.
‘I forgot that you weren’t sanding next to me.’ He responded after finishing up and flushing.
“Yeah, yeah.” I laughed waving my hands and leaning back in the blank space that I was with in. But I quickly sat back up from the dark aurora that was starting to seep into the room.
Noel paused with his hand on the door to the stall. ‘Something’s here…’ He told me. So he could sense it too. When I first saw him he gave off a different aurora saying that he was different, I didn’t know that he was already sensitive to the other side. So being connected to me will only strengthen that…will he end up being on the same level as I am?
“Stay quiet.” I ushered Noel as the hissing of the demon came in. “It’s a Swamp demon…but what’s one of those doing here in a bathroom.”
‘The kid in the shower.’ Noel said and before I could stop him he charged out of the stall. The bathroom was covered in slime and our feet instantly in an inch of water. ‘Can the kid in there see what’s going on in here?’
“When the demonic presence is high enough yes.” I answered as Noel went towards the showers to see the demon entering into the shower stall with the kid.
“Wa-what is this thing?” The kid panicked.
Noel took his flip flop off and threw it at the demon but all it did was absorb the flip flop. “Hey you, ugly.” Noel shouted at it.
The Swamp demon turned around and started coming towards us. “Get out of here.” Noel shouted at the kid as he started backing away from the demon.
“B-but what about you?” The other boy asked.
“I’ll be fine, get out of here now.” He responded. ‘Nori can you handle a swamp demon?’
The kid turned off the water and grabbed his towel and was able to slip past the swamp demon and get out of the bathroom. “Let’s do it. Switch with me.” I said and Noel exhaled the breath that he was holding in and I launched forward as I saw Noel falling behind to my left. I took control and teleported out of the way as the demon smashed itself into the wall where we were just standing.
“How are you?” The thing spoke in a groggy voice as it slid off the wall and slowly turned around to face me.
“Big fat and ugly does speak.” I commented brushing some of my hair out of my face. “I am Nori Hira, third in line to the head of the Hira clan. And you need to leave.” I answered.
“You…you let my meal get away…now I will eat you in exchange…” He roared and came at me.
I teleported once more to go behind him. “Yun!” I called out.
“On it!” He yelled and a large cloud of smoke engulfed the room. “Now can you tell which one of us is the real one?” Yun and I said in unison. Yun using his illusion magic to look and sound just like me as we stood on opposite sides of the swamp demon. ‘Nori, why are you playing with it. Get rid of it before someone comes in.’ Noel exclaimed in my head.
I sighed. “Fine, fine, slave driver, take all my fun away.” I pouted and erupted a wave of flames across the floor quickly evaporating the slim and muk that the demon was leaving behind it. It turned towards me and came at me. Raising a hand I took two long strides towards the swamp demon and stabbed my arm into it then erupted it in flames form the inside out. Its screams evaporated along with it. The dark aurora subsided and the bathroom when back to normal. Minus my arm smelling disgusting and being covered in slime.
“I hate swamp demons with a passion.” I grumbled letting the slim drip off my fingertips.
“That was amazing master Nori!” Yun exclaimed poofing into a larger human form of himself and running over and hugging me.
I couldn’t help but chuckle and hugged him back. “It’s good to see you again too Yun. We should probably take a shower though.” I said.
Yun nodded and he poofed back into his cotton form and rested on top of Noel’s clothes waiting for us.
‘We should switch back before someone comes in.’ Noel said and I nodded and focused to let him take control again.
“Ugh it smells so nasty.” Noel said holding his arm out away form his body.
But we all laughed and Noel took a shower and then wandered back in his towel then got changed. ‘There ya go, at least your showing off your arms today.’ I commented crossing my arms confidently.
“Yeah, yeah…” He muttered drying his hair off a bit more before putting his towel away.
‘Good job for handling the demon the way you did in order to get that kid out of there.’ I congratulated Noel as he made his bed.
“Thank you.” He answered and I could tell he was smiling.
‘Hey the more we practice switching the less with have to concentrate about it. When we master that then we can also work on just switching consciousness and not switching bodies.’ I mentioned as I watched him work.
“That sounds interesting, but at the same time I kinda worry what you would do with my body.” He laughed a little bit.
‘Don’t worry I won’t do anything terrible when we get to that point.’ I laughed along with him. ‘Did you want to practice switching a bit since we have some time before we have to meet up with the girls for lunch?’ I offered considering that I was getting a little bored just sitting here watching him.
“Oh, sure let me lock the door.” He said and wandered over to the door and locked it.
He concentrated and we switched. We continued going back and forth. The more we did it, when he would switch to me I could feel his hair grow longer and him grow taller as we switched and vise versa when I would switch back to him.
“Master Nori and Master Noel, It’s quarter to noon.” Yun spoke up from the bed and we had just switched to Noel.
“Shit.” Noel said quickly grabbing his key, phone, and id. “Come on Yun.” He said and slipped on his shoes and ran to the door.
Yun flew out of the room in his cotton form and Noel locked the door behind him then ran down the stairs and to the mail room where Elena and him were going to meet up before going to lunch. He ran into the mail room and Elena was quietly waiting there. “I’m sorry I’m late.” Noel quickly apologized only slightly out of breath. I couldn’t help but laugh, being with Noel was going to be a lot of fun.
