♢Noel♢
I took the bandana off of Elena’s head and tossed it onto a table that we were passing by that didn’t have anyone at it. Then we sat down.
“What took you so long Noel. I was sure that you would have gotten back here before Elena.” Austin commented and then he jumped. Alexa must have kicked him under the table.
“He was being a gentleman and he more then likely waited for Elena to finish up so that she didn’t have to walk alone.” Alexa suggested.
“That is what he did actually.” Elena smiled tipping her head a little to the left.
“Look at you Noel, your more of a gentleman that I would have thought you were.” Austin nudged me and I laughed a little rubbing where he hit my arm with his elbow.
“I-it’s only right.” I answered with a smiled.
“Are you all getting any desert?” The waitress asked as she collected our plates from dinner and brought a few boxes for the girls to put their left overs in.
“No thank you. Just the check please.” I replied.
“Will that be all together or separate?” The waitress questioned as the girls handed her their plates.
“Put hers and mine on one check and these two can be on a check together.” Austin stated before I could even say that it was together.
I looked at Austin with a raise eyebrow. “I’ll be right back with your checks then.” I heard the waitress walk away from us.
“I’m not going to make you pay for all of us. I can’t loose all my manly hood to you ya know.” Austin chuckled.
‘Well if you would let me have my way with him, I could make him lose his manly hood to you very quickly.’ Nori commented and I had to keep myself from blushing and panicking.
I pushed the comment off to the side and figured I would deal with it later.
“Why weren’t we allowed to get desert? ‘Alexa questioned and I looked at her and smiled a litte.
“You didn’t Noel. That’s why you didn’t take a nap when I told you to.” Elena gasped.
“Hey I helped.” Austin butted in.
“You got the stuff out for me then sat there and watched me make it.” I commented and the girls giggled at my response.
The waitress came back with the checks and some of the mint candies. I pulled out my wallet and put enough cash with the check to give the waitress a five dollar tip and after Austin finished putting his money in the check book we headed back out to the car.
“Hey can I see your keys for a minuet. I want to get a good look at your key chains you have on there.” Austin said.
“Oh sure.” I said quietly and pulled my keys out of my pocket and handed them to him.
“Shotgun.” Alexa called and both of them ran to the car.
“I guess Austin’s driving then.” Elena laughed a little.
I blinked a few times taking in just what exactly was happening. “The two of them are completely setting all this up aren’t they?” I asked. That was a stupid question of course they were.
‘Ding ding ding, good job captain obvious.’ Nori chuckled.
I sighed and slumped my shoulders. “Why do you have to put it that way and be so mean about it?” I asked him as we got to the car.
Austin had just finished adjusting the seat so that he could drive and Elena and I got in on opposite sides of the car. We were both in the back. “I don’t know what to do Nori. Are Austin and Alexa expecting us to do something?”
‘They could be. I would enjoy seeing a little action between you two start crossed lovers. You two are so frickin’ shy that you don’t seem to want to tell the other how you feel. Even though it’s bluntly obvious that you both like each other.’ Nori commented.
“Nori that’s not helping and you know that I want to just make sure that it’s not just a phase. We’ve only been able to hang out for two days. This isn’t a Disney movie. I’m not going to start dating someone I just met.” I mentioned to him as Austin started to drive us back.
‘First of all it’s marrying someone you just met for Disney movies and the newer one’s seem to trump that and actually have the characters get to know each other.’ Nori stated matter of factly.
How on earth did he know about Disney movies and just how many has he seen? I know that he was just over 200 but still. “Why do I try. I’m still going to wait though so you can calm your hormones.” I stated and leaned back in the seat a bit.
“It’s a bit weird being in the back of my own car.” I couldn’t help but laugh lightly.
“I didn’t know you could back Austin.” I heard Alexa speak up.
“He’s just starting to learn actually.” I answered quickly before Austin could and the girls giggled at my comment.
“Not cool dood.” Austin pouted.
I chuckled a bit myself. All the events of the day were starting to really hit me. My eyes were starting to hurt from my contacts being in, but I would have to wait till we got back and I was able to give the girls the trifles before I did that.
“You okay Noel? Your blinking a lot.” Elena mentioned.
I looked over at her and smiled a little blushing, “Yeah, I’m okay, my eyes just hurt a bit is all.” I answered. I was pretty honest with that.
“Your contacts getting to ya?” Austin asked looking back at me through the mirror.
“You wear contacts?” Elena asked surprised.
I blushed and looked down at my lap and nodded a little. “I-I do. I have bad eyesight. A-as soon as I was allowed I got contacts so my glasses wouldn’t hinder me in my sports.” I answered choosing my words carefully.
“What sports did you play back in school?” Elena asked me calmly. She didn’t laugh at me or anything for having contacts.
“Oh…um…I was on the swim team…and I did gymnastics with my twin sister since we were little.” I responded kind of quietly.
It was kind of embarrassing to tell them all of this. “What did you do?” Austin asked as he parked the car and we all got out.
I took a breath and exhaled through my nose before shutting the door. “I was on the swim team. I also took 14 years of gymnastics with my twin sister.” I answered him as he handed back my keys after locking the car once everyone was out of the car.

♦Nori♦
I didn’t pay attention to what everyone had to say about Noel and his gymnastics. That was an uneventful ride home, which was disappointing. I was hoping that the two would at least hold hands or something like that. But I guess the two really like to take things slow. When you think about it, that’s understandable, you want to know more about the person and you want to know if you’ll be able to know what their faults are and if you could live with all their quirkiness.
“I wish I could do that.” I muttered to myself.
‘Is something wrong Nori?’ Noel questioned.
“It’s nothing Noel, don’t worry about it. I’m just talking to myself.” I said.
Being in an arranged marriage, not even knowing who the person is…I know that’s how it was for mom, but mom and dad clicked after they met. I got up and walked running my hand away from me and soon I painted out a hall of the manor in this black abyss. I needed some color, the manor was always so alive with commotion and demons running around back and forth trying to get things done.
“What if I don’t like the one I’m in an arranged marriage with through…” I said quietly as I leaned against a poll of the empty manor.
‘Maybe you’ve already met the person, but your parents don’t want you to know who it is yet.’ Noel was trying to reassure me.
I smiled a little and looked down at the recreated ground, that I remember looking at and playing on all my life. “Unless it’s someone from with in the manor or from one of the clans that have made the brothering packed with the Hira clan then I doubt it. I just feel bad because now I’ve drug you into this and that was never my intention.”
I looked up to see what him and the others were doing. I looked up at the wrong time because I couldn’t see anything but blurry figures and Austin being an idiot asked Nori how many fingers he was holding up.
“It’s four. I’m blind, I’m not drunk.” Noel commented putting his glasses on and we could see things clearly again. I pray that his bad eyesight doesn’t rub off on me. I actually hope it’s the other way around and I can help improve his eyesight instead.
“You look cute with glasses.” Elena smiled happily lightly clapping her hands together.
“Those frames go well with your facial structure.” Alexa commented pushing up her own glasses.
“Thanks.” Noel said and went into the closet to get the deserts out for the girls.
‘Hey we’ll get through it together and winter break is still some ways off, we haven’t even started classes yet. Everything will be fine.’ Noel tried to reassure me.
“Thanks Noel.” I smiled back down as the girls were all excited about the deserts that they were given.
The girls stayed down in the room till they finished their desert and then everyone said goodnight and the girls left. After they left Noel got into some shorts as Austin went to the bathroom. He went and brushed his teeth but still got back before Austin and he flopped down on his bed. There was a small poof from under him.
“M-Master N-Noel P-please get off me.” We heard Yun panic.
Noel instantly rolled onto his side. “I’m sorry Yun, I didn’t see you there.” He apologized quickly.
“It’s okay, did you have a good time on your date?” Yun asked and I couldn’t help but chuckle.
“I-It wasn’t a date Yun and yeah I did have fun. Thank you for asking. I’m glad that you decided to eat the oddball out of the trifle so it made an even four. But how did you get it out of the fridge?” Noel asked with curiosity in his voice.
“Oh that’s simple.” Yun smiled and poofed creating a large cloud of smoke that quickly disappeared to show a human sized Yun sitting on the bed next to us. “I know transformation magic. The bell on my tail shows you what element I wield as well.” Yun explained and he brought his tail to the front of him and his bell jingled.
“Oh wow…” Noel exclaimed.
“I’m glad you think it’s cool.” Yun smiled back at us happily.
“So do you eat more in your human form?” Noel questioned.
“Not really, in my human for I look like a really light eater.” Yun replied happily. “You what you left out for me was plenty, thank you for that.” He quickly looked at the door and then poofed back to being his little self, right as the smoke cleared Austin walked in with his stuff.
The two of them talked for a little bit then they decided to call it a night. Noel quietly said good night to Yun who said good night back then fell asleep on the pillow. That was always one thing that I envied of Yun, he cold just fall asleep so fast, I was jealous about it. Noel wasn’t too far behind though it was a really long day for the both of us. I don’t even know if I’ll be wandering through a dream tonight. I know when I’m that tired I don’t dream at all so we’ll see if I’ll give him something to dream about or what.
Tomorrow was the last free day before classes started. I wonder if I can convince them to go for a walk around campus. We still haven’t explored campus and I would love to see the rest of it.
