I jumped into the circle and caught Eevie before she could face plant onto the floor. Swiping my hand over Eevie, I extinguished the flames of the candles then gently laid Eevie down on the floor before opening up the window a bit so that the smoke could seep out of the room and the fire alarm wouldn’t go off. Then I picked Eevie back up and moved her over to the bed before cleaning everything up.
“That was a good catch.” Noel commented as I set Elena and Eevie’s necklace down on the desk. I wandered back over to the bed and sat down on the edge of it and lightly brushed some of Eevie’s hair out of her face. “Do you think that it drained both of them doing that? Elena hasn’t taken over yet.”
‘It’s a possibility…Let’s go get Yun and then come back. That way just in case Austin comes back Yun isn’t alone in the room with him.’ I said and before Noel could answer I blinked back to the room. Yun was laying on the pillow.
“What happened?” Yun instantly could tell that something was wrong. He could probably see it written all over my face.
“Eevie passed out from making the concealing charms and Elena hasn’t switched with her yet, so we’re thinking that it effected both of them.” I responded as Yun transformed into his cotton ball form and floated over to me.
“Then let’s get back to their room just to make sure that they are okay.” Yun said determined and I nodded as he landed on my shoulder and once again I blinked back up to the girls room. Eevie was resting peacefully on the bed. Her chest gently rising and falling as she took slow, calm breaths. She was sound asleep. I smiled softly at the sight as I walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge of it once more.
“She seems alright.” Yun commented as he poofed into his human sized form and leaned down over her. He lightly pressed his pointer and middle finger against her neck and checked her pulse. “It’s slow, but it’s more then likely because of the fact that she’s sleeping.”
I chuckled a little and ran my fingers through my hair. “What’s so funny?” Yun questioned tipping his head a bit to the left as he stood up straight once more.
“Eevie actually figured out a traveling concealing spell. I guess I have to tell her why I decided to bond with a human.” I smiled. Though it wasn’t a smile of guilt and frustration. It was a genuine smile. I was actually happy that she was able to do it. I’m going to be getting this thing off my chest and into the open with her. Though I am nervous at the same time. How is she going to react when I tell her I’m engaged to a person I’ve never met before? “I just hope she doesn’t hate me for it afterwards.” I sighed as I looked at her peaceful face.
“I don’t think she’ll hate you master Nori.” Yun commented putting his hands behind his back.
“I agree with Yun. I don’t think she’ll hate you either. And with how much you care about her it’s probably better that this is out in the open.”
I scratched my head and sighed a bit. “I hope that your both right with this.”
Noel and I swapped places just to be safe. After we switched Noel put the necklace on and shivered a bit at how cold the chain was against his skin. Even through Noel I could feel Eevie’s magic soaking in. A soft sent of vanilla was coming off of it. When Noel looked over at Eevie, Elena had ended up switching with her, but she was still asleep.
“She smells like Vanilla.” Noel said quietly.
Personally they both smell like Vanilla. But it may just be me. Elena and Eevie are actually really good at hiding most of their aura and I don’t think that they realize it. A pale blue glow was around Elena and it was brighter when Eevie was in control. It makes me wonder how bright it actually is.
It was interesting though when I first met Noel his aura was clear. And I couldn’t get any kind of smell coming from him. I still can’t smell anything. I don’t know what a clear aura means though. I’ll have to try and look it up. When I looked back up I saw Noel was leaning down over Elena’s sleeping face.
‘Noel, what are you doing?’ I asked him I had a feeling I knew what he was doing, but I just wanted to be sure.
“I just…she smells so nice…” He trailed off and closed the gap between the two of them and gently pressed his lips against hers.
I felt his heart jump and pound in his chest as he pulled away from her. I could tell that he still very much so wanted to be with her. Even just stealing that kiss, I can tell it’s getting harder for him to wait. I felt a smile on his lips as he sat back up. “I’m glad your okay.” He said quietly.
“Master Noel, where do you think I should put the book?” Yun asked and Noel looked over at Yun to see him holding Eevie’s spell book in one hand.
“Um…Maybe in the closet…but it’s gotta be hidden.” Noel mentioned and then Yun wandered to the closet and put the book somewhere in there. Hopefully out of sight.
We sat there in the room for about another ten minuets before Elena started to wake up. Yun went back to his little form and flopped onto the bed with a little bounce. “What happened?” She groaned lightly as he put her hand up to her head.
“I think Eevie over did it a bit when doing both the charms.” Noel responded as he got up off the bed and wandered over to the desk and grabbed her necklace.
“So it ended up getting to both of us because of it.” She muttered taking the necklace from Noel.
“I’m glad that your okay though. You two had all of us really worried.” He laughed lightly and scratched his cheek. “No I guess I know how you felt when I got hit by the screamer.”
“That doesn’t come close to that I’m sure.” She stated as she fiddled with the hook on the necklace.
Noel gently took the necklace out of her hand and undid the clasp. “I know, but still, I was really worried.” He said looking her in the eyes. “I care about you; I don’t want you to get hurt.” We both felt the same way. We wanted to protect them, no matter what.

Elena spun around and lifted her hair up exposing the back of her neck to me. I felt my heart pounding as I put her necklace on her. “There we go.” I smiled as her long hair fell from her hand and cascaded back down onto the bed with a wave.
“Thank you.” She smiled at me as she turned back around and tucked her necklace into her shirt.
“Your welcome.” I smiled back at her and felt my face heat up and I quickly looked away. I rubbed the back of my neck and glanced over at her. “Are you um…are you wearing a body spray or anything?” I asked and she rose an eyebrow at me.
“Not today why?” Then I think it clicked with her and her face heated up and he hands instantly flew up to her face. “I don’t smell bad do I?” Her question was muffled by her hands but I was able to make it out.
I grabbed her wrists and pulled her hands down with a soft smile. “You smell like Vanilla.” I stated, “And I really like it. It’s not over powering at all. It’s like when your baking cookies and you can start to smell it through the house.” Her face went bright red and I couldn’t help but laugh a little.
“This isn’t fair, why can’t I have something like that.” She stated putting her hands back onto her face to hide her blush.
“Sorry to tell you. I don’t think I smell like anything. Nori’s told me that he wasn’t able to smell anything form me when we met.” I laughed sheepishly rubbing the back of my head. Unless it was the same for you and Eevie then I can’t really tell you what I smell like.” I confessed.
Yun poofed back into his human form and tackled Elena to the back with a hug. “Your so flipping cute!!” He laughed. His bell on the end of his tail jingled as he waved it back and forth. “Can you two just get together already?” It made all of us laugh and Elena hugged Yun back before he let go of her.
We continued to talk about random things and Elena seemed to calm down. I did pretty much for the most part. “Hey Elena do you care if I bring what I have left of my homework up here and we can work on our homework together?” I asked.
She smiled and nodded. “We can do that. I don’t have too much left to do anyways and I can get to work on it as you go get yours.”
I smiled and got up off the bed. “You gonna stay here then Yun?” I asked heading over to the door.
“Yeah you won’t be long so I don’t see why not.” He answered going back to his little form.
“Okay I’ll be right back then.” I smiled and pulled myself into the door and face planted into it with a thud.
I heard a stifled giggle come from Elena, “Um…I locked the door earlier.” She commented and I laughed sheepishly as I unlocked it quickly.
“I-I’ll be right back.” I stuttered and quickly left the room.
I quickly made my way down the stairs my face burning from embarrassment. ‘Ha, smooth moves back their Noel.’ Nori teased me as I made it back to my room.
“S-shut it. It’s not like you haven’t done embarrassing things before.” I mentioned as I collected my science book, note book, and laptop along with it’s charger and then wandered back up the flights for stairs and to Elena’s room. I knocked before coming in and I closed the door behind me. Elena was already at her desk and she was working on her homework.
I spread my stuff out on her bed and started working. It was quiet between us as we worked on our homework. I looked up at her a few times. She looked really focused on her work. I took a small breath and stopped writing and focused on her. “Hey Elena…” I stated to get her attention.
“Hm?” She hummed and broke eye contact with her note book to look at me.
“Do you think tomorrow after classes we could get together. Nori did make a deal with Eevie. He wants to tell her, but he wants her to rest tonight, so we were thinking maybe tomorrow would be a better time to talk about that.” I stated. It was like if I couldn’t say anything Nori was able to say it for me. And vise versa.
‘I was gonna say something about that ya know…but thanks.’ Nori said he sounded a bit embarrassed by me being the one that had to ask.
“Not a problem at all.” I responded.
After a few moments Elena nodded. “Sure, but where did you want to meet up?”
“Either the roof or the meadow, it’s your choice.” I stated.
“Why not the roof. Not a lot of people go up there to begin with.” She mentioned and I nodded. “Okay so tomorrow on the roof it is.” I smiled at her and she returned the smile.
We continued to have random conversations as we worked on our homework. It was fun, but also difficult for me. She was driving me crazy, with her smile and her laugh. And now on top of it her smell. Vanilla was one of my absolute favorite smells. And so was mint. So to say it bluntly my cheeks always felt warm, the whole time I was there with her. I was falling head over heels for this girl. I wanted to drag her back onto the bed and hold her. But I just have to settle with this for now. I’ll wait however long it takes.
Yun and I stayed up in her room till around 10:30. Both of us had finished our homework. Elena’s took a little longer because I had to ask her for help on a few questions from our science class we had together. Elena still looked pretty tired so we figured that Yun and I would head back to our room so that way Elena could get some sleep. When I got back down to my own room Austin still wasn’t there. What was it that was keeping him out so late?
“Should we go see if we can’t find him. Give the necklace a test run?” I offered.
‘I have a feeling we’re going to be scolded if the girls find out…but let’s do this.’ Nori agreed and we switched places. The necklace actually went between our bodies. It didn’t come with me. That was a good thing though. It would make it much easier to get around. Yun made it easier and he transformed into a retractable staff and Nori slipped him into the rope that was hold up the cloth that I liked to call belts.
Nori teleported out of the room and onto the roof. There was a light breeze tonight and it was started to rain. “We should probably move fast.”
‘Yeah, this rain is going to dual the sent.’ He stated looking out over the campus.
