I had an interesting discussion with Allamorph on AIM last night. It started with him showing me this video at YouTube, though what he was really showing me was the song, Dirty Little Secret, not the video, so listen and ignore the actual bleach video. =P
Anyway, it's from the album Where Do We Go from Here by the Christian rock band Pillar. The short discussion centered around how people will hear the words "A Christian Band" and go... "Oh I can't listen to that." Which by the way is an utterly stupid thing to do, prejudge a group just because they're religious. I prefer to actually listen to a group before I make that kind of statement or rather judgment of whether or not I'll listen to it.
What makes it funny is I like music that has a good steady beat to it. So I've been checking out the album and so far out of nine songs that I've listened to so far, I definitely like seven of them. That's more than enough for me to consider actually picking the album up.
So Allamorph does it again... gets me started on another band. lol It's almost creepy how he always seems to know if I'll like something or not. o_O I'm not complaining though, I love finding new music to add to my collection. =P Anyway, here's another link to one of their songs over at YouTube: Frontline Enjoy!
