Invading The Comfort Zone

So I have two more finals to take tomorrow before I will be done with this semester. I'll be glad to get that out of the way. The timing is right for me to almost get two weeks off before school starts again on the 19th. Technically it starts on the 18th, but I'm only taking two classes so I won't have anything on Monday's.

One class will be on Wednesday's for three hours. That will be Social psychology research methods I expect it to be pretty straight forward and I already know that most of the work will be done outside of the class room. I will also be taking a class that meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday. That class will be Psychology of human sexuality.

Should be interesting based on the warning the university gives for the class. This is only part of it but it should give you an idea:

Warning: This course includes detailed lectures, readings and films about explicit topics. It covers not just consensual long-term heterosexual relationships, but also short-termed affairs; sexual harassment and rape; masturbation, oral sex, and anal sex; sex in other cultures that practice polygyny, polyandry, or sexual slavery; pornography and prostitution; gay and lesbian sex; and unusual sexual preferences. If you are not comfortable learning about these topics in an open-minded scientific way, this may not be the right course for you.

I really hope I don't end up with a bunch of closed minded idiots who can't think beyond their comfort zone. I tried taking this class before and got stuck with a bunch of narrow minded religious jerks. Since it was going to be more headache than it was worth, I pulled out and decided to take it in the summer instead.

That way if I get idiots like that again, at least the term will be a little shorter. I'll find out soon enough I'm sure. At least I'll have four day weekends all summer long. I'm going to enjoy that part. =3
