Help, please?

Hey, anybody here know what code I'd use if I were trying to post a playlist from projectplaylist.com on my World's introduction? I've tried a couple of codes; but, none of them seem to show up. If ya'll could help me out that'd be awesome. If it's not possible for me to post something like that in my introduction, please tell me and I'll just link back to my playlist on the other website. Thanks guys!

Hey there. I'm at the beach. YAY! It's actually been kind of overcast, which sucks. I mean, seriously, what's the ocean without the sun?! Oh well. The waves are really choppy, too, so any kind of surfing is out of the question. I did, however, attempt to body-surf earlier today and managed to get sucked under by the current and then neatly deposisted on the sand-bar... Oh well, I decided against try that again.

We're renting a house here, so it's rather nice [it has high speed internet, Ink is appeased.] But, my mom, cousin, sister and I were counting the beds in this house [there are five bedrooms total] and with the multiple beds in certain rooms, cots, trundle-beds, and pull out couches; we've found that there are 15 beds in this house. All but 4 of which could comfortably sleep three people my size [I'm 5 foot tall and am skinny, so I guess not normal people; but, small people like me]. It's kind of insane, if you ask me--I think we decided that we could sleep 20+ people if we wanted to... Which is kind of ridiculous because they're is only 4 people in my family; 5 if you count the cousin that's spending a couple days with us.

It's been a nice, laid-back weekend. Which is good. This house also has a hot tub [sighs]. It's wonderful. My cousin and I sat in it for like an hour today [yes, I do know you're not supposed to stay in them for any length of time--but, screw that it felt nice!!] and I read a good book. Besides Little Women, Lousia May Alcott wrote some creepy, dark romance called "A Long Fatal Love Chase". I recommend reading it if you're into gothic romances. It was beastly. I wanted to cry at the end. But, I'm already done with the book I planned on reading all week...and it's only Monday night... Crap. I'll have to steal some of the books ever.so.silently brought. I might dip into my mom's mystery collection. I think between the two of them my sister and mom brought well over 20 books, so I'll be set.

...

Life's been boring lately... Only interesting thing of consequence was sucky for me, so yeah. I failed my driver's ed exam [again] while my twin sister passed. What. The. Heck. Oh well.

I'm going to the beach in a couple of days--I'm bringing my laptop with me, and I think the rental house has internet [I friggin' hope it does] so I'll still post.

Con Adventures '08

I slept for like 13 hours straight last night, I think I got all caught up. My head hit my pillow and I was gone. So that was nice. So here is my con adventures from this weekend:

Day 1: 3 hour long drive to the con. Stopped half way there for some lunch at some random pizza joint. Darn. Good. Pizza. More driving.. Some more driving. And a little bit more driving. After registration, dad and I just kind of meandered around for a while. Went into the dealer’s room a little bit. And then the AMV contest. FTW. The guy who sat next to me during the AMV showing was absolutely hilarious. One of the best moments was when there was a disclaimer at the beginning of one of the videos that stated that it contained spoilers. Well no d’oh. They all do—to some degree. The guy next to me called out “SHIEK IS ZELDA!!” We all laughed. It was pretty good. We had a lot of people cursing Windows and all that—but the best moment of the AMV contest was the very last video to “I’m Going to Make a Man Out of You” from Mulan. The people around me were singing and so during a lull in the lyrics some guy called out “Everybody!!” So everyone started a sing-a-long during the AMV contest. It was fantastic. Opening ceremonies…ummm…oh, then ‘dinner’. Dad and I decided on getting hotdogs that the hotel was providing. They told us they were hotdogs; I have yet to believe it. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything more nasty in my entire life. The hotdog itself was all soggy and kind of, for lack of a better term, squishy…the bun was stale. It was nasty. Then there was Rock Band Idol. Padre and I caught the tail end of that…it was funny. I guess it’s always entertaining when fights break out between band members… Dad and I drove back to our hotel to check in, I changed out of my Howl cosplay because my shoes were killing my feet and then we drove back over to the con. We just walked around, went to some panels. Then we went to the 711. I feel sorry for the employees of the 711, everyone from the con was going in there. As well as the Denny’s on the corner near the hotel. The Denny’s was always swamped with people in costume, the employees were probably frightened.

Day 2: My dad and I ate breakfast at our hotel. The coffee there sucked, so we went on a mad search for good coffee. We actually ended up at the 711 again. [Get used to hearing about the 711, we were there constantly.] Then we went back to our hotel room so I could put my Karin costume on. Half way through my hair I realized I had no hairspray/hair gel. Well crap. So dad and I went over to Dollar General and got hairspray. It was kind of interesting. Going out in public in costume always garners attention… At the con, Dad and I basically camped out in the screening rooms. We watched Bleach and Noein… Went to the dealer’s room and totally geeked out buying a ton of Itachi fangirl stuffs and some buttons and a cell phone charm and all that jazz. Then we had time to kill so we went down a waterfront restaurant. It was a nice restaurant too!! I mean this is one of those places were the waiter would like pull out there chair for you!! And we got a view of the bay, so that was nice. I, still in costume, stuck out like a sore thumb. I thought it was hilarious. We walked back along the boardwalk back to our van, and on the way there this rogue duck attacked me… Some people on the boardwalk apparently thought that was very funny. Yes, the poor teenager just got beheaded by a wayward mallard. Back at the con, we got in line for the cosplay contest. After having stood in line for eternity we were informed that they’d filled their ‘people quota’ and if they let any more in the room they’d be breaking fire codes. Well crap. It sucked, so dad and I went up to the 711 [what a surprise?!] and got some food. Because, we were NOT going to eat the nasty hotel crap—I mean food—again. So then we went to the lounge and watched TV and I drew and wrote for a while. We went and watched the DDR tournament. And then back to the hotel room for the night.

Day 3: Packed up our hotel room. And then got breakfast. At the con we went to the “10 Greatest AMVs of All Time” showing. That was pretty good, and then we hit the dealer’s room again. I got some Pocky and then we decided to head on home. But only after we made one final stop at the 711 for some Mountain Dew.

So there was my adventure for the weekend. I had an awesome time. It was really fun!!

...

I. Am. So. Tired. I'm currently running off like 6 hours off sleep for the entire weekend...

I'll post my con adventures later. But, know I'm back and had an awesome time!!
