I had a Mexican Coke today. I was going through serious Mexican Coca-Cola withdrawls. [laughs] Seriously, if you live anywhere near a tiendo [Mexican store] you need to go buy a Coke in a glass bottle. Make sure it says "Hecho en Mexico" on the side. They use unrefined sugar, so it's sweeter and not as--for lack of a better term--purified tasting.

Anyways, happy Independence Day to everyone in the US of A. My town, because we're a ridiculously small, Redneck-y town, has fireworks tonight instead of tomorrow. Don't ask me why, maybe it's because all of us country-folk can't count. [For the record, I--depsite my country roots--can count.] But regardless, we're going to the fireworks tonight. I actually love the fireworks. I wish we could set some off in our backyard, that way we would forgo the traffic and the hoards of people who go to the fireworks show. I want to set some off when we go to the beach in a couple of weeks. Nothing better than the smell of fireworks.
