Fun in the Sun

I have two words for you people: Feild. Trip. I haven't been on one single stinkin' feild trip this year. [Besides two outings to the town for an art show and coffee and the library--which shouldn't really count because it's like five minutes from the high school.] Anyways, there's a theme park about an hour and a half or so from my school. They hold a 'math and science' day every year. We're going. They have like small workshops on math and science and then you can ride the roller coasters. Nine students from my entire high school are going [lame, says I; but, the fewer the better in my opinion] so the teacher planning that feild trip has said: "You don't have to go to any of the workshops, just go have fun." Yes, we love this teacher. She's awesome. So we get to go have the best field trip ever!!! The only thing that kind of sucks is I have to leave early and have my dad drive me back to our town because I have dress rehersal for my dance recital. But, I only have to leave like an hour early so it's not that bad.

Anyways. I've never been on an upside-down roller coaster. I've actually never really been on a roller coaster [unles we're going to count the dinky ones at the State Fair]. One of my guy friends said he'd ride all the coaster's with me and hold my hand when I freaked out. Well, he's not going. So I'm all alone to face the big, scary coasters. Muffin says he'll ride with me...and ever.so.silently probably will. My dad and I are going to ride one of the oldest coasters in the park [it's made of wood, if that gives you any idea that's how old it is]. I'm so excited.

Here's the only downside. We have to be at the school by 7 in the morning. 7!! I'm usually asleep at 7. That means being up at like 5:30 so I have time to get everything ready. I'm drinking coffee. I'll make sure to be up early enough to grab a Krisy Kream and coffee before my parents get it all.
