So it's definately been a while since I've updated and a lot has happened. Let's see here... Well, I'm currently typing this from my brand spankin' new laptop while at the BEACH. Yes I am at the beach. Be jealous. I can hear the Atlantic's magestic waves crashing against the sand right now!! We thought we weren't going to be able to go to the beach this year because of college expenses and my dad's hospital bills but my dad actually got back to work sooner than we thought so my mom just randomly told my sister and I last week that she'd booked us a beach house! I'm rather excited.

Anyway, I spent the last week at my college!! There was a summer leadership program that my sister and I were invited to attend. Hence why I haven't posted in a while: the wireless Internet wasn't working. Anyway, about the leadership thing: it was awesome. The first couple of days sucked because my sister and I weren't making friends...but that all changed during one fateful trip to 711 to buy food. We ended up walking with this guy that my sister had played volleyball with earlier that day. Found out we had a lot in common with him and he invited us back to his room to hang with him and his roommate. His roommate was a caustic Englishman. I kid you not. He is hilarious. So anyway, we all decided that we were going to watch a movie so we texted this girl who brought a whole bunch of DVDs with her. She had Spirited Away. This sparked the Studio Ghibli fangril squeeing from the three of us and the ensuing forcing of the boys to watch what is quite possibly the greatest Studio Ghibli film.

So we all bonded over Spirited Away. Ended up spending the rest of the week together and creating so many inside jokes. Seriously. My ENTIRE Facebook wall is dominated by our group of friends from the leadership institute. I'm so excited to get back to campus and see everyone. I'm just so glad that I got a chance to meet other freshman before school starts. We all admited that we were afraid that none of us would make friends and we came out with an entire group of people we got close to. It's so awesome.

I move in in 20 days and I can't wait!!
