Ok, I just had the most awkward phone conversation I have ever had in my entire life. I actually really hate talking on the phone--it also doesn't help when you have no voice, and can't really hear because your ears are so stuffy--I think takling in person is better. So anyways, my cellphone rang and I didn't recognize the number but I picked up anyways, because if it was a wrong number I could just hang up or something...But it was my boyfriend. [I need to think of something better to call him, because calling him 'my boyfriend' sounds really akwakrd to me...] He just called to talk, and he couldn't really understand me because I practically have no voice so I have to speak really quietly and it was weird. So we just talked about random things, had a couple of awkward silences...it was kind of strange. It's easier to talk to him in person, then our awkward silences aren't so awkward...

I still don't feel very well, as I'm sure you've already gathered. I've had this nasty cold thing since Tuesday night and it's gotten progressively worse over the last couple of days. Right now my throat feels all swollen and disgusting and scratchy, and my voice is shot. I can't really hear out of my right ear [it feels like it needs to pop] and I feel kind of feverish. My sinuses feel like someone shoved cotton into them. Augh, I so don't want to be sick on my vacation.

Well, and I just found out not 5 seconds ago that my government teacher, who also happens to be a catoring a dinner tonight, and if you read my post a couple of weeks ago about the missions dinner, this is the same lady, anyways, and she needs help with this dinner tonight so my sister and I are going to help with that. So I guess I just had plans made for the day. Huzzah. I should probably go shower then, and make sure I don't look like an incubator for the plague. [laughing]

Well, I hope you all have a good day, and that if any of you are suffering through a winter-related illness I hope you feel better!
