One step closer.

Just finished my first semester of my junior year! I'm rathered excited about that. My second semester classes are Spanish III, Psychology, and Chemistry. It's going to be interesting. But today was the last day of exams, so I'm just glad to be done. Though this week has been a disaster.

Monday and Tuesday were both spent working on my character analysis of Winston Smith from George Orwell's 1984. Wednesday was youth group...And yesterday. AUGH. I work from 4:30-5:30 on Thursdays assisting with a 5-7 year old ballet/tap class. Well, the teacher that I assist just got her college schedule for next semester and she won't be able to teach the class after the one we teach together, so yesterday I had to stick around the dance studio and help out the subsitute. It wasn't fun. There were 15 kids in that class. It was crazy.

My exams for the most part went well. I think I did ok on Algebra II. I'm not sure yet, though, I haven't gotten my finale grade. My English exam was interesting... Our teacher went on a ski trip last night and so she wasn't here today to give the exam another teacher was giving it to us, but she left our exams in her briefcase in her car which is with her at the ski resort. Yes. So we had to get her to dictate the exam to our substitute teacher so she could tell us the questions. It was interesting. I think I failed Economics. It was so flippin' hard!! I hate Economics. So everyone was done with all of their exams by 10:30 this morning, so my classmates and I all piled up into our Economics teacher's minivan and we went to the Italian restaurant downtown and celebrated being done with exams. And now, there really is nothing to do around here--it's rather boring.

But boring is good when you only slept 2 hours the night before. Out power DIED last night and I couldn't get back to sleep after it went out, so I'm dead on my feet.

We have a turkey shoot this weekend to raise money for the Mexico missions trip my dad is going on in February. My cousin and her boyfriend are coming to stay with us and are going to the shoot. It should be fun. Hopefully.

Speaking of Mexico, I get to go there this summer!! My school is taking a missions trip there, so I'm really excited about that!

EDIT!! I got a 90% on my Economics exam. Go me.
