So, last night I was running around our lawn barefoot [I'd just moved the car so that my sister could mow] and I got stung by something right on the pad of one of my toes. Now, my toe is about twice the size it should be, is bright red, itchs like crazy. Oh, and did I mentioned that tomorrow is prom, so I have a swollen toe that won't fit in my shoes. Oh, and just wait--here's the icing on the cake, I have a fever now of 101.8! My mom thinks it's because of an allergic reaction to the sting [my dad is deathly allergic to bee stings] and so I guess I got some of his allergy. Today we were decorating for prom, so I was running around like a maniac with a swollen toe. I wasn't feeling well all day but I wanted to stay and help out so I did. After we finished decorating, we [my classmates, teacher, couple of other friends and I] all went to go see Star Trek. Which as awesome, by the way. Anyways, so a couple of times during the movie I kept telling my sister that I thought I had a fever. She said I felt a little warm but not that bad. I had her drive me home and then practically collapsed on the front steps I was so dizzy and in so much pain from my friggin' toe!! So, needless to say I'm praying with all my might that I'm better before prom tomorrow. It would suck so bad if I didn't get to go because I'm sick from an allergic reaction. Please, pray for me or if you're not religious keep me in your thoughts.
