The Cinderella: The Characters
Charlotte "Charlie" White-the main character, Charlie is a girl living in the ruins of NYC. She's eighteen and is living alone. Her whole family was murdered by vampires except for her dad, who dissapeard when she was young. She decides to move to the Imperial City of Alkwitzer when her best friend, Daniel, is murdered by some vampires. There she joins a rebelion. Her first task is to go work in the Royal Vampire Family's house as a maid and gather info on how to defeat the vampires.
Her time in the Royal Family's mansion is similar to Cinderella, hence the name of the book.
Charlie has short black hair and brown eyes. She dresses in a futuristic/modern punk style. Her attire/look doesn't really match her personality.
Charlie is very kind-hearted. She wants to find a way for the Vampires and Humans to coexist. She is also very serious and well trained in fighting. Her brothers taught her how to fight and how to use a gun so that she may defend herself from vampires. The only problem is that Charlie is also easily scared and runs away instead of fighting, which makes her seem like a damsel in distress type character who always needs someone else to protect her.
Avery Bell-the main vampire character, Avery in of Royal "blood." In other words, he is a member of the Royal Vampire Family. He is forever twenty one since he is immortal. He is the third youngest member of the Bell family and the most mysterious. He doesn't talk much and does not enjoy to party much.
Avery is in no way a prince charming or an Edward Cullen, he is very dark. Instead of murdering humans, Avery drinks blood that is prossesed and mixed with wine or scotch. This really helps him keep from murdering someone when he is thirsty. Instead of murdering, Avery drinks large amounts of alchohol.
He is very thin and his skin is practically white. He has beautiful blue eyes that are like the sky. Since he is so skinny, he wears very baggy clothing. His hair is brown and his bangs hang over his eyes. He tilts his head forward so that they cast a shadow over his glowing eyes.
Avery can also become a bat like thing. He has no emotions/expressions; his face is always blank.
Artemis Folwry-the other vampire, he is only half blooded so he can walk around in the sunlight. Artemis has faire skin and blond curly hair. His eyes are orangish(like all half vampires). He is immortally seventeen years old and very rebellious. He wears more modern leather badboy attire unlike most vampires who dress in Victorian style.
Artemis is a part of a vampire group called the Revelance. They are sort of a peace keeper and murder bad vampires and rebelling humans. They promissed the humans that they would help them give back their world but they have not made much progress.
Artemis likes Charlie a lot and often kisses her unexpectedly. Unlike Half-blooded vampires, full bloods cannot touch a human. Their icy skin freezes the humans; this is one of the vampire natural weapons to catch prey. Artemis doesn't like Avery. Compared to Avery, Artemis is a ball of emotion and often jumps between different emotions. It's kinda weird.
Hazel-the Bell family servent girl who becomes close friends with Charlie. Hazel's parents sacrificed her so that the Bells would spare their lives. She has been living with them for ten years. She is sixteen.
Originally Hazel was going to be killed but the third oldest male, Howl, begged Lord Esmond-the leader of all vampires-to spare her. She is very close to Howl who admires her singing voice(he is very musical).
Hazel is a beautiful english girl with black hair and green eyes. She is sweet and innocent and is the only other person who also believes that humans and vampires can coexist.
