As the rain poured on her new dress, she ducked into the overhang of a run down building. She gazed up at the falling sky and wondered if it would stop in time.
"Damn it" She groaned "I'm never going to get home in time"
She pulled her cell phone out of her pocket.
"Perfect. No reception." she sighed as she put her only hope away. "Devin's gonna kill me. Damn it."
She slumped to the floor leaning up against the rickety wall. She started to cry in desperation. What the fuck was she going to do? Cars zoomed past at random times soaking her again and again with mud and water. So when the bright blue head lights shown on the oppisite wall she braced herself. To her suprise, the yellow porshe stopped and the door swung open. She instantly recignized the car as her own and jumped in the passanger side.
"Krista. I-" She stuttered with tears in her eyes.
"Hey baby. You're late" Krista smiled at her. "We got to get you home and changed before Devin gets really pissed." Rin smiled and shivered. "The blanket is still back there."
"Thank you so much."Rin readched back and grabed the recently used blanket out of the back seat. She curled her knees to her chin and covered all but her head.
"You have no idea how much this means to me Krista. I am sorry for doing-"
"Its fine hun. I love you too much to let you freeze and never see you again."
They remained quiet the rest of the ride but Rin never took her eyes off her. When they pulled her into the driveway Krista went around and opened Rin's door and carried her into the house.
