Today the Otaku Studio would like to introduce someone who gices the difition of fangirl an all new meaning. Her colorful ways put her in many of The O otaku's favorites. Please welcome TheAngelRaine.
Rogue_Crow: As I am with every otaku with an original name, how did this name become your alter ego on The O?
TheAngelRaine: TheAngelRaine, pretty much came from my favorite oc Raine...who is... *cough cough* but I made it when I was still a little fangirl. If I had a choice, I would change it to my nickname, Rai-chan.
RC: In 5 words describe yourself if you talking to a complete stranger? (Like me!!!)
AR: I am quiet, random, nice(I think, crap this is hard),slacker, and creative?XD
RC: If you could alter the future in any shape or form. What job would you give yourself?
AR: I would love to me a comic artist, that's why I’m practicing so hard now.
RC: How did The O become a part of your life, and has it changed it in any way?
AR: I was introduced to Theo by one of my friends who is no longer active. *tear*. It is a major part of my life. (cuz I’m a such a dork) I think it has helped motivate me to get better in my art, and I have made some good friends here. So I love this site!
RC: Anime is becoming a world epidemic of life art with no boundaries. That my opinion, but how do you see anime?
AR: I see anime as something to enjoy. I think it can express great things, and even teach us lessons that we can keep with us even after the TV has been turned off. And on the other hand, it can make me want to bash my head into a wall.
RC: Of course, what are your favorite animes right now?
AR: Full metal Alchemist, Lucky Star, Moribito, Crono Crusade, Wallflower and strangely...POKEMON!XD
RC: Do you have any training at all because your art is really go, if I say so myself?
AR: First I must say thank you.XD My art is pretty much self taught from hours of practice and studying others who have more knowledge than me. I am in a Graphic Commercial Art class, but I don’t think it really has helped me much art wise, besides making me feel like I cant draw crap.><
RC: Here just a random question on my part, how are you?
AR: I am feeling pretty good besides from being shot in the leg by a paint ball a few days ago and still feeling it.
RC: Is anime in any way going to influence what career you go into?
AR: *points to earlier question* I think soX3
RC: Do you believe your art skills have become better since joining or they still the same?
AR: Waaaaaaaay freaking better.XD
RC: Okay now I'm going to become serious with my questions. I just read The Forgotten and I enjoyed it. As a writer, you have promise,so where did this idea come from for this story?
AR: The Forgotten is a fan fiction for the book series Maximum Ride and it was pretty much a story I came up with because I felt really crappy about Ari's life in the story and I wanted to give him a friend so he wouldn’t be so lonely. I call it, my mary sue fan fiction. But i still like it, and I kind of want to make it into a comic one day if I have time. I pulled most of the story out of my @$$ pretty much, it took me 3 days to come up with the whole thing. I didn’t write it all out though...
RC: Are you continuing where you left off, or is a one time deal?
AR: *points to above answer* Its not a one-shot, but i just don’t have the time now to write anymore, but as i said before, if I have time, I want to make it into a comic.
RC: When I see your work on The O, its so colorful and gives you a warm feeling, I guess. Was that intention, or do you just love pretty colors?
AR: I'm in love with colors.<3
RC: I can see you love FullMetal Alchemist, especially Al. He is cute, but the thing I like the most is your fan manga (fanga for short). What I like is the story behind it so far. Can you give of an insight on the story so far?
AR: Ooo this is a tough one.(yes Al is my redbait) I don’t want to give anything away but I can say that its going to get confusing. Its going to deal with Vanessa's past and how Ed and Al mix with it and as well as Envy's past before he was a homunculi and how Vanessa ties into that. Sorry if that makes no sense at all.
RC: Any hints you can give to people who actually read it, like me? ^.^
AR: .... Inst that what you asked in the last question? I’m confused>< I’m sorry.
RC: Okay back on topic...your writing Beware of Fangirls for a voice actor, who you really enjoy. What is this voice actor's name and have I seen them in anything?
AR: I thought I explained all this at the beginning of Beware of FangirlsXD The voice actor is 16 year old Aaron Dismuke. Who has been Alphonse Elric<3, Ion Fortuna(trinity blood), Leon(black cat), Hiro (Fruits Basket) Chika (Ouran High School Host Club), those are the big ones, but there are others.
