Blah

So, because I'm lazy, I'm just now getting around to putting up the picture of the other foal we had some time ago ._.

This is little Hovsi and his mum Varr. This is her first colt. Hovsi means grey and Varr means vigilant.

In other news, this week we were going to head out and start our spring training back in the mountains, since the weather has been so nice, but it decided to come in and start blizzarding. So so much for that. We train all year around, but in the winter time it's more of just maintenance training so we don't feel out of shape or let our skills get rusty. In the spring, we go out, live off the land, wage mock battles against each other and generally run amuck. And I don't care who you are or how good of an 'outdoorsman, or outdoorswoman' you are, being out in a blizzard in the mountains is just plain stupid.

Sooo maybe next week. Today I'm working on a skirt I'm making for one of the feast days that is coming up in a few months. Those of us who are of Nordic decent generally go to feast days and 'party'. Lots of dancing, drinking and eating. Traditional dances mind you. None of that weird stuff kids do nowadays in clubs. Always fun.

Well then, I'm off.
