Okay, so after I saw the letter that my best friend wrote me for friendship day, I decided that I should say some stuff to her also:
Dear Brookie-Chan,
I can't believe that I never realized that one day you would be my only best friend. Truly, I used to hate your guts, all the way up to 6th grade. Even then, you still kinda irked me. But then after actually talking and getting to know you, I understood that you were the one person who actually accepted me for who I was. So thank you for helping me find the totally awesome awesomeness in you that I couldn't see before :)
Thanks for helping me through the hard times. Like when I texted you in tears because my dad went out and got drunk the night before my sister's birthday, you 'sent me your mental support' and made me laugh. Thank you for being my second sister (though, I would happily boot you up to first once Chiara leaves for college), and thank you for always being there for me ^^ I never noticed that you really ARE my only best friend that I can always count on to be there for me. You're the most responsible, hilarious, caring, loyal, trustworthy, and kind-hearted person I have ever met, so please don't ever change a thing about yourself!
It's amazing how alike we are, we're linked somehow ^^ We hate the same people, like the same animes, like the same websites, and so much more! We will always be the 2 #1 Altos, even if we I don't end up taking choir in High School, and no matter what, I won't let us drift apart when we grow up ^^ You'll be my maid of honor, and yes, you can wear pink xD Maybe we'll end up going to the same 'old age' place or whatever you call those places...
You're the reason why I decided to get a zone variance to go to Silverado. You're the reason we're taking Japanese together and saving up our money to go on our own trip to Japan ^^ You're the reason why I started loving anime. Without you, I could never have as much laughter and light in my life. It's hard to imagine a world without us being best friends.
I sometimes wonder what it would be like if we had never met, but that just makes me depressed, so I just go watch anime ^^ Because it cures everything, as you say!
Please don't ever change, you're the best best friend sisterpants that anyone could ever have, and I'm lucky to be your friend ^^
