So I was invited to my friend's sweet 16 birthday party last night, and it was a masquerade/dance thing... So I had to make my mask, and it turned out pretty nice! It's hard to imagine that I was able to do it all in one day 0____e Anyways, but there's a picture of it at the bottom... Oh yeah, and it won first place in the judging contest (because it pwns) so I won a $25 giftcard for i-Tunes! Huzzah...
But overall, the actual dance kind of sucked. In my church, you can't dance with guys until you're a certain age, which two of my friends were not, so they kept following me around and bugging me -_____-' It felt like they were trying to make me feel bad that I could actually dance... But since no one wanted to dance with me, I kind of just sat in the corner... And somehow I ended up holding this lady's baby and feeding it this nasty goat milk. WTF. And like, you know how sometimes you'll just get a group of friends and dance together? Nope...
The only time I was actually spoken to was when this nerd dude (I swear, the epitome of a nerd- Nasally voice, glasses, and everything) came up to me and asked me what my name was, shook my hand, then walked away -___-' Another WTF moment...
Sooo basically a waste of my time, since no one even noticed when I left... That has to tell you something, right? I basically texted the whole entire time because I had no one else to talk to... *sigh* I got home around 10:30, and my mom had one of her friends staying with us while she was in town, and they wanted to go get something to eat... At 10:00?! Seriously people?!"
So me, my mom's friend, and my mom went to the M to eat dinner, and we didn't get home until like 1:00 a.m. -____-' Ugh.
