Hojo is a boy at Kagome's school, and forms a giant crush for Kagome. He completely believes she's sick all the time and goes out of his way to bring her things to make her feel better.

After Inuyasha forced Kagome back to her own time Kagome had an actual date with Hojo. But she was so worried about Inuyasha's wounds that she ran out of the restaurant in the middle of everything to try and return to the past. She often tries to convince herself that she really loves Hojo, but she always seems to take Inuyasha over Hojo if she has the choice.

Hive Handler

Also called Tsubo Tsukai.

The Hive Handler is sent by Naraku to kill Miroku. He uses the kokochu (hive containing hell wasps) to control others in order to destroy his target.

He attempts to use his kokochu to get Mushin to attack Miroku, but his plans fail when he is spotted.

Hiten is one of the Thunder Brothers. He is a young demon who is focused on gathering the shards of the Shikon Jewels. He is very powerful, and can summon up lightning. He is very fond of his brother Manten.

Higurashi Jii-chan

His real name is Higurashi Jii-chan

Kagome's Grandfather is very knowledgable in tradition, and the history of the Shikon Jewel. He also knows about the mysterious well that sends Kagome back through time. It comes as no suprise to him when she tells him what she has seen. He is very interested in the stories Kagome tells him from her journey, and he gives her some helpful information.

Hermit Wizard

Hermit Wizard/Sennin
Name translates to "hermit wizard"

The Peach Man was originally the pupil of the Sennin. He is now kept alive in the form of a plant because he did not reveal all the secrets to create the potions for eternal life.

When he senses the demon-fighting aura in Kagome's arrows, he uses the last of his energy to change into the form of a bow, which Kagome uses to destroy the Peach Man.
