There's a lot of sun outside of the window. It's warm but there's a constant wind. The snow's almost gone too, spring is finally starting. A nice day so far. A sunny outlook is always good and the weather is definately helping it. Although high 70's or low 80's would be a better temperature and maybe a little less wind. The clouds in the sky are light and fluffy and they just seem to lazily float past the houses and trees.
The phone sits in fron of me on the desk, it was black and sleek like the darkness of night. (Not to sound emo or anything, I'm just describing it's appearence.) The small rectangular green hued screen reads: SP-phone 01-43-22. I've been talking for a while now... and the battery is low. Luckily the other phone is charging on the reciever. I hear his voice, like a angel's, on the other line. He's singing. I lean over and kiss him gently. Even though, he's not here. I tell him I love him and he takes a couple seconds to reply. His tone was bored and uninterested. It stung a little but it's okay. Then it was all silence.
I began to fiddle with my ear, which had been hurting the last few days. Me playing with it wasn't making it any better but, oh well, I couldn't help myself. I noticed an iTunes gift card for 25 dollars sitting underneath the computer screen. I had used it up already... and I only had 5 cents left.
"What are you doin?" I asked him quietly.
"Nothing..." He replied simply. "Just looking at guitars."
"Oh..." I said, my voice was quieter this time.
"But," He continued, "Everything I want is 30,000-" He paused quickly, then corrected himself ad continued. "I mean, 3,000 dollars. Sorry." I smiled lightly and tried to commit the converstion to memory.
"No, it's fine." I spoke as I typed. "It's no big deal." Little did he know he was inspiring a whole story. I leaned forward and gave him another quick kiss. His voice came from the phone again,
"I love you."
