Konami Recognized for its Games and Systems Strength in Casino Journal’s Top 20 Awards

Konami Gaming, Inc. received three awards at the Casino Journal's annual Most Innovative Gaming Technology Awards for its KX 43 video slot cabinet, large-screen opus cabinet, and SYNK Vision biometric player tracking solution. Each was named the most creatively influential and technologically advanced product in the gaming industry last year by an independent panel of experts.

"The power of Konami's presence in this year's Top 20 list is the perfect foundation for more product growth and development to benefit our customers," said Tom Gingoli, Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Konami Gaming Inc. "Konami remains committed to investing in future entertainment and technology while remaining true to the immediate needs of today's global gaming market."

Two unique Konami slot cabinets have been named one of the most innovative products in the industry this year. The company's 65-inch large-screen Concerto Opus video slot has proven successful with large cabinets with large entertainment values and just the right size of space on casino floors. The KX 43 is designed to entertain players with original content while maintaining flexibility, practicality, and long-term value for operators. Both are included in 4K Ultra HD, and there are major connected progressive series libraries including Treasure Ball, Summer Solstice Triple Sparkle, Rich with Daikoku Triple Sparkle, Dragon's Law Selection, and more.

"Global momentum for these machines continues to grow, and our team is diligently working to drive a world-class content lifecycle to support them," said Gingoli. "From iconic, progressive series like Fortune Mint to games that branch from traditional rotating reels like Treasure Lounge, Konami is revealing the depth of creative entertainment it can deliver across award-winning hardware."

Konami's SYNKROS casino management system was also featured at the 2019 Top 20 Awards, where a biometric player tracking solution automatically captures data for all players. SYNK Vision uses each EGM player tracking bracket and a camera mounted on each table game to match facial identities with a stored biometric database. Rather than requiring individuals to sign up manually or use a player tracking card, it tracks players based on their unique facial characteristics.

"SYNK Vision allows casino operators to truly view, analyze, evaluate, and reward all 'card' and 'cardless' play activities on their floors for the first time," Gingoli said. "In addition, SYNK Vision is fully integrated with and seamlessly operational with Konami's SYNKROS system, allowing operators to offer incentives, bonus events, hotsheets and special offers to loyalty program members and anonymously tracked players alike, increasing wallet share and encouraging player loyalty."

Each of these award-winning products will be considered for the Silver, Gold and Platinum Awards to be announced later.
