Playtech BGT Sports Promotes Chief Commercial Officer John Petit

Playtech BGT Sports, a market leader in omnichannel sports betting solutions, announced that John Petit has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer.

Since joining the provider at Ladbrokes in late 2015, Petit, who has been managing director in the UK, Ireland and Australia, will combine existing roles with managing all customer activities around the world.

As part of a management restructuring designed to support PBS's plans to enter more regulated markets, a management team of three new areas of managing directors will work under it.

Ridravwell will be in charge of the United Kingdom, Ireland and Belgium, while Costas Papadopoulos manages Greece, Cyprus and Africa, while Ricardo Caballaro manages the remaining territories in Europe along with Latin America.

Meanwhile, Hamish Davidson will remain managing director of PBS's Australian operations, while Gregor Erath has been promoted from commercial director to sales director. Erath will be responsible for sales and business development in all regions and will work with local MDs.
