why exactally did 4kids decide to change the opening theme to pokemon?? this is way better than the english one!!

i feel like such a kid for watching it, but i really wanted to know!! and from all my years as a pokematic, this is the first time i heard the japanese virsion!! :O i am appaled by myself!
