Hey guys! For our classes' next project in ceramics, we are doing glazed (?) 3D tiles, and I have two ideas on what to do.

(Tenebrea's hand-tail)
or
#2
(Ratatosk's core)
#1 will be decent, carveing around the outside of the hand.
#2 will be harder... With all the details, but those can be added during glazing time.
So, which one? (quoting Vincent)
