Kyouya Actually Taught Me Something!

Weirdest thing, the other day I was on OneManga.com reading Host Club, the one where they have a sports festival. Haruhi is caught staring avidly at a dragon fruit and eventually asks "How do you eat it?" Everyone is, once again, shocked by the poor kid's ignorance and Kyouya has Mori cut the dragon fruit for her. He tells Haruhi that you can't eat the skin and that the inside is really bland.

Kyouya's enemy, Kuze, captain of the soccor team or something, dropped by and scolded Kyouya on his ignorance of the draon fruit. The fruit's skin is actually very delicious pickled and the inside an be put into a variety of dishes as it is high in protein and other nutrients. Kyouya tells Kuze that he simply doesn't prefer dragon fruit and goes on to say how else dragon fruit is beneficial. The pone thing that really caught my eye was when he said that it could prevent anemia.

I kind of did a double take. Anemia? No way! I've been struggligng with anemia for about 8 months. It's not a huge deal, it's basically that my blood doesn't carry oxygen very well, so I'm usually really tired. I'm on iron, with is supposed to treat it. I couldn't help but to laugh and run to tell my mom what my "magna" (as she and so many others call it) taught me. Thanks alot Kyouya!
