well it's been a while

Hmm... So I just checked in and found out I got promoted to Otaku Legend. Heh. It makes me think about how I first joined here and I wanted it so bad, but now that I actually have it, it doesn't mean anything. Especially considering I really didn't do anything but dump a few of my pics from DA and Tegakie everyone once in a blue moon. :I
I sometimes wish I could go back to the beginning when I had so much fun on here. But I do like to see that people are moving on. What is disappointing though is seeing the people who were here, even years before me, and they don't seem to have changed. The art I see some people post on here looks the same as I remember it like two years ago. It's disappointing because I remember looking up to some of those people and wanting to make art that looked like their's, but now that I am better, I can see all the flaws in that art and I know they need a lot of work. I wonder what they had been doing while I was gone from here, trying to improve myself, only checking back occasionally. I don't know. Maybe I'm being a bit critical, but it's because I wish I could see those people making the kind of amazing art I remember them making, that I can aspire to be like.
