Last Movie Saw in Theaters: The Hobbit
I don't know if I posted about it or not, but my Roborovski Dwarf hamster, Moot, died awhile back, and I've been thinking about getting a new small creature to love and care for. I was thinking about getting a couple of hermit crabs like my buddy did, but I found out that its consistently too cold in my house for them to live (plus one of her crabs ate the other one 0_o). I was gonna try another fish, but I don't have anywhere to set up a tank with a filter, and again its too cold in here to bring in another Beta fish (so sorry Betta-chan I lov-ed you and miss you). Then I found out that Chinchillas easily over heat, and love the cold, but they need to be cared for gently for they are extremly fragile and I can't trust the cats not to go after the little guy. Plus its over $100 to get one! O_O I can't have a rabbit cuz it would have to live outside, and that would be just too cruel cuz of the heat. And my mom won't let me get a duck, which by the way is the only bird I'm interesting in getting (I'm not too good with birds). And I looked into getting a snail, but they don't sell any around here except for the sea ones (I wanted a land snail).
So should I get another Robo Dwarf hamster? Or does anyone have any other suggestions. Keep in mind I have 2 extremly nosy cats (plus a cockateil, and a 15 year old chihuahua), and I live in Fl so it would have to be an indoor pet that cold survive in 68 degree temp.
My dad is on vacation, and for the past 3 days I've been watching Top Gear on the BBC. THATS WHAT HAPPENS! He picks a dumb show (last time it was An Idiot Abroad marothon), and I get stuck watching it with him XD
Oh, and the "U" button on my key board isn't working too well, so forgive any missing yo_s XD

Alot has gone down lately; I do have internet now. Ironically I got it on the same day my Grandpa died, so my enthusiasm for the momentous event was sort of dampened there for a while. We had the funeral and everything. Had to go all the way up to Maine for it -___-’ Worst trip ever, and not just because it was for a funeral either. I was uncomfortable the entire plane ride up there. I came to find out later at the hotel that I had a stomach ulcer, and was bleeding internally. I must have been bleeding pretty bad there for awhile, cuz when I had gotten off the plane I almost passed out. My whole face, even my lips, was pure white; my mom was freaking out. I can’t eat any acidic foods anymore. NO MORE PIZZA!!!!!! OR SODA!!! Its killing me XD…not really, I’m pretty much adjusted to the new diet now.
The funeral was sad. 13 of my fifteen cousins were there, as well as all 6 of my grandpa’s kids (my mom, and her brothers and sister). Plus a few of my Grandpa’s brothers were there (he had 13 siblings, and I think we found out that he 6 step brothers). So yeah there was a lot of people there, a lot of tears and memories. One cute thing did happen at the viewing though. My youngest cousin, whose only 5, was trying to hand out tissues to everyone in the same manner one of those boys on the corner used to try and sell you a paper (You know, “Extra! Extra! Read all about it!) XD Well he went up to one of my Grandpa’s brothers and offered him a tissue, and when he took it, my Cousin said, in a matter of fact way, “There good for tears and boogers.” Everyone couldn’t help but crack up XD He’s so cute.
Other crazy stuff happened too. You can’t put 28 people of the same gene pool, in the same hotel and not expect there to be some incidents XD The second day there, my cousin Jessica, who is renowned for her lack of judgment in certain cases, almost set the hotel on fire. Her bother got his shoes ( and ipod & phone) wet after she pushed him in the pool, so Jessica, trying to help, turned on the fire place and set his shoes next to it. She then exited the room leaving the whole set up unattended and when one of my other cousins went into the room to get something, he came running out yelling fire. The whole room was filled with smoke, but luckily no actual fire. The cause of the smoke was from my cousin’s shoes melting. The extreme heat melted them so badly that the rubber of the shoes was just goo pooled up against the glass of the fire place. XD We had to buy a scraper to scrap it all off the glass before house keeping came in the next morning. THE FIRE ALARM DIDN’T EVEN GO OFF! XD lucky us (though that’s kinda bad)
There was also the Peanut Lucky Charms war. We went to a restaurant called the ROAD HOUSE, where they give you an endless supply of peanuts, expecting you to throw the shells on the floor. Well needless to say we ended up throwing them at each other. Then someone took a box of peanuts home and put them in my uncle Chris’ pillow case. Then my uncle put the peanuts in the suit cases of his assailants (my cousins XD). Then my cousins Lucky Charmed his car XD Yep, good old family. I enjoyed seeing them all though.
That’s one good thing that came out of all this, everyone got to see everybody. Thats one thing my Grandpa always wanted, a family reunion, and in a way he got it ^^
Its been a long time, again, but I've been preoccupied with the chaos that is life XD
I've been working with my grandpa, helping him go through all the papers he's been saving (were're still finding stuff from the 70's). There are still countless boxes to go through, but he's in the hospital right now, getting surgery on his arm. He may loose his hand, but hopefully he won't since its his right. He wasn't doing too well before this latest hospital visit either; its not just his arm. He's in total renal (kidney) failure, so he has to now go to dialysis 3 to 4 times a week, and the doctor told him he didn't have long to live (hence the need to go through all those papers and get his affairs in order)...It's a sort of wait and see sort of thing, but I'm glad I'm getting to spend the time with him.
My grandma has been having problems too, tripping and falling. She fell the other day while out walking the dog. She layed on the side of the road for a half hour, till my grandpa woke up and realized she hand't come back yet. My mom and dad had to work to get her up. Luckily, she was ok; just a few bruises. What pisses me off is, there were a whole bunch of people drving by (we live near a school), teachers and students, not one of them stopped to help her! So I've been walking her dog for her, and checking in on her, just incase.
And to top that off, my friend is no longer living with me and my family. She's pretty much out on her own, so I'm constantly worrying about her, and whether she's ok. She was calling my mom everyday, and then she suddenly stopped, gave us all a freakin heart attack, but shes ok. Nothing bad happened; thank God! She's at the library now with me XD
So yeah, lots of things to worry about.
And still no internet connection at home T-T
But I'm doing ok, and I'm sure things will start getting better...or worse, hopefully better XD
