A 6 year old girl with purple hair, blue eyes, wearing a red shirt and black overalls looked around the playground that lies in the Hidden Sand Village. She never knew where she came from and what family she has; she just wants to make a best friend.
The girl walked up to the swings where a boy with red hair, jade eyes and a teddy bear was slowly swinging from side to side.
"Hi there..." The girl said smiling, "My name is Jessica. What's yours?"
"Gaara," the boy replied, "Do you want to play with me?"
"Sure!" Jessica cheered. For the first time in Gaara's life, he smiled brightly at Jess with actual admiration. The demon inside of him felt the same. For the whole morning, Gaara and Jess took turns pushing each other on the swings, when the sun started to set; Gaara asked a very tough question.
"Jess, how do you sleep?" Gaara looked down in embarrassment. Jess didn't really know the exact answer.
"Maybe we should have a slumber party to find out..." Jess informed the young Gaara. Neither of them knew what exactly is a 'slumber party', so they decided to have one in Gaara's bedroom. A tall chunin with blond hair named Yashamaru looked worried, but welcomed the two friends inside the house.
In the bedroom, Jess was amazed at all the toys around the room, Gaara smiled and the demon smiled evilly.
"Okay, time to get this party started! Gaara, you can go to sleep, I'LL handle the rest." The demon persuaded.
"Fine..." Gaara agreed easily, never knowing who that demon was inside him. For first order of business, Jess and Gaara took a pre-nap in order to stay awake for the party.
For Gaara, it was really hard to sleep since he had never slept before, but one warm hug from the sleeping Jess made him do it. He felt a feeling just then, he didn't know what that feeling was, but he knew this; this feeling made him...normal..wanting to be alive.
As the red head was dreaming, he was peacefully and slowly transforming the right side of his body; yellow eyes took over and so did the sandy skin with blue veins, a huge arm, ears, and not to mention a huge tail came afterward. Finally, what happened next was unbelievable; Gaara grew 10 feet tall, nearly breaking the door down with his tail.
As for Jess, all she felt was a warm feeling inside her getting bigger and bigger in seconds. She woke up instantly to find a giant Gaara whose body looked more like a tanuki's; he was staring at her with care, love, and affection.
"Wow!" Jess exclaimed looking at Gaara, "You got bigger." Gaara chuckled, but his voice was different. Well, half of him seemed normal, but the other half was demonic, hyperactive, the opposite of Gaara.
"If anyone had seen this, then that will mean very painful science experiments on you, Gaara. Maybe we should make this our little secret." Jess pondered for a bit. Gaara agreed, what if the 4th Kazekage have seen them right now?
Suddenly, their stomachs growled. They really needed a lot more food to make themselves full because of Gaara's size. Gaara called the Pizza Hut that was across the next 2 blocks from the Kazekage's mansion.
"Pizza Hut, how may I help?"
"Yes, I would like 10 extra large pepperoni pizzas to go." Gaara demanded.
"That will be about 50 dollars..."
"WHAT-!?! I mean, just put it on my father's credit card thing."
"As you wish, Gaara-Sama..." Then both of them hung up. While Jess and Gaara waited for the pizza to get here, Jess had a sneaky idea: Prank phone calls! She pushed up random buttons and called.
"Itachi Uchiha, at your service."
"Yes, I'm looking for a Seymour. Last Name is Butts." Jess nearly giggled.
"Hold on.....Hey, has anyone seen Butts? I want a Seymour Butts!" Itachi yelled. Laughter from his clan was heard over the phone, Jess and Gaara laughed while Itachi got angry.
"Okay, it's decided. I'm going to kill you and my clan for this prank if it's the last thing I do! But maybe after 1 year..." Jess hung up from the spot then she slowly went next door to Gaara's brother, Kankuro's, room. The brown headed boy was sleeping with what looked to be a tiny puppet.
Jess opened up Kankuro's window and grabbed the 10 boxes of extra-large pepperoni pizza from the delivery man, she paid him and quickly ran into the bedroom where Gaara was waiting patiently. Jess smiled, walking towards Gaara when she tripped on a train set. Pizza went flying around but one pizza pie fell on top of Jess; she was now covered with zesty sauce, crunchy crust, and piles of pepperoni. Gaara picked up Jess and softly ate the pie off of her one by one.
"Oh my gosh! You taste so good." Gaara exclaimed, finishing the last of the cheese. Jess laughed. They were having a good time, around 11:00 pm; Gaara had something to give Jess.
"Um, I made this for you for being my best friend..." Gaara held up a small, purple necklace with a heart locket attached to it. Inside the locket there was a picture of Gaara. Jess loved the present, she tied it around her neck and never took it off; then she put on some music from the radio.
"Can I show you how to dance?" Jess asked. Gaara nodded, getting more excited and bigger than before.
But then, Kankuro woke up by hearing loud, Hispanic music coming from Gaara's room. He walked up to the door and knocked hard. The music continued; Kankuro decided to look inside a peep hole to see what the racket was about, he saw some little twerp dancing with a monster? He screamed in horror.
"TEMAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIII!" Kankuro yelled. The 9 year old blond rubbed her eyes, trying to get some shut-eye.
"Gaara..Twerpette...dancing...Tango!" Kankuro blurted out. Temari went back to bed, giving Kankuro the Whatever look. Kankuro looked again. From Hip Hop to Break dance, from disco to freestyle, the two friends danced so freely. Kankuro rubbed his eyes.
"Don't worry! This is all just a dream. You'll wake up sooner or later, right?" Kankuro reassured himself. Then he heard a demonic voice.
"I'm blue, ba da dee ba da da. Ba da dee, ba da da." For a demon, Gaara sings very good. But he is growing every second. Kankuro saw that if Gaara kept growing, the whole house was going to fall down.
"YASHAMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAARRRRRRRUUUUU!" Kankuro yelled. Yashamaru came running in the hall with his pajamas; Kankuro told his uncle about the monster, the singing, and the dancing.
"It's just a dream, dear. Go back to sleep." Yashamaru yawned. Kankuro put his ear on the door to hear what the two was saying in their conversation.
"Oh, Gaara. Your voice is very talented!"
"Yours too, Jessy-Chan."
"I really like you in this form. It's different and bigger…Way bigger!"
"Yeah, I like it too."
"I really wish that this night really lasts forever."
"Don't worry, my mate, I'll plan to do this EVERY night. All because of you, my wonderful baby girl! You are always mine..."
"Oh Gaara." Jessica cooed.
"Oh Jess..."
"Oh Bleak!" Kankuro said to himself. He didn't like the romance in the air.
"I love you, Gaara."
"I love you too, Jessy-Chan."
Then Kankuro heard a smooching sound. Jess and Gaara kissed for the first time. Kankuro fainted. The 4th Kazekage passed by, staring at his fallen son and then what happened inside his younger son's bedroom. The Kazekage muttered in rage and went back to bed.
Now back to Jess and Gaara; once they stopped kissing at about 11:59 pm, Gaara got hungry. That was the fifth time tonight. Every time he ate, he got bigger, making him hungrier. He loved this growing sensation of his, Jess adored giant things, so she got used to the growth spurts.
"Don't eat too much, okay? You're gaining a lot of weight right now." Jess said concerned of Gaara's eating habits. Gaara patted his huge stomach in agreement. Jessica had to make constant trips to the kitchen in order to keep Gaara calm. By the time the refrigerator was empty, Gaara weighed 7 tons and was 30 feet tall crunched in a ten by eight bedroom.
"There's nothing else left, you ate everything you have; all I found was this 'sake' bottle." Jess explained. She gave it to Gaara who drank every drop in delight. Gaara hiccupped a lot and kissed Jess multiple of times. One kiss from the right shoulder had made a love tattoo that represented the mark of Gaara and Shukaku's mates. Jess was the first to be a mate to Gaara and Shukaku. She didn't know it back then but that was going to last there forever.
…Back to the story….
Even though Gaara was nearly squished in the tiny room, he still slept fine with Jess who was still sleeping on his huge chest. By morning, Gaara was back to his normal size and didn't look like a giant raccoon.
But at night, Jess and Gaara kept having great fun under the full moon. Except for Gaara's family, everyone didn't suspect these two kids really love each other.
