Hey, everyone! Hope everyone's cool, hee hee.
Well, like the title says, there's good news and there's bad news for you guys. The good news is that I now have a website. Well, it's not really a website- I'm sure my old friends prolly know what I'm talking about-but for my new friends, it's actually a Wordpress blog. So come on over to http://thewisemartian.wordpress.com, where you can talk to me about my posts, which are about everything from anime to philosophy.
And now for the bad news. I need your help!!! Recently I've begun to watch streaming episodes on the Net. Problem is, the episode plays in fits and starts because the player (usually Megavideo) spends most of its time buffering. So, my question is: Is there a way I can buffer the whole video at once, so I can enjoy it without interruptions?
Waiting for your suggestions, and comments over at my site. Bye!
Wow, I can't believe summer's over! We're at the fag end of June now,and come July my vacations will be over. T_T
So, what have done this summer? Nothing much, actually. Just bumming my butt off over trivial stuff. I don't understand what I've really accomplished, except for losing some priceless time.
I've made progress on the animanga front, though. I've seen 2 new series, and begun 2 more. I loved Le Chevalier d'Eon, and am now completely gaga over Ghost in the Shell. Also, during the holidays I've managed to read-and complete-several great manga series. Ghost in the Shell,
Cowboy Bebop, Dominion Tank Police, Claymore-wow, the list is endless.
Another breakthrough has been my wholehearted acceptance of the Big Two of Animanga: Bleach and Naruto. I read the manga for the former, got killed by it, and am now a diehard fan. Same with Naruto, which is currently airing on Cartoon Network. This from a guy who once wrote:
"The series I hate most is Naruto and Bleach, because everywhere I go, it's just Naruto this and Bleach that. I'm sick of it! What's so good about these series anyway?" [From Gendou.com forums]
Well, I was also rewarded for this conversion. I am now officially an acclaimed Otaku! Yes, the title has finally come down to me. I am soooooo happy :-D.
So, in conclusion, I'd say my summer vacations, this one went pretty well. Not in terms of actual chores, or learning something, or extra-curricular activities-but as a dedicated fan of anime and anime.
