Wooooooo.

Well, Otakuites, I've got bad news for all. I'm semi-retiring from theOtaku.

And before you all start disbelieving, I'll tell you it's true. I will no longer be posting as occasionally as I do. My Just a Ramble section will be updated irregularly from now on. My Updates & News section will be, though.

The reason for this is that I have been severely careless about my life outside the Net. I forgot to pick up my little cousin a few days ago, and the poor kid waited for me for an hour and a half. Another time I made my parents wait an hour before finally hearing the doorbell and opening the door. Yet another time, I bought a scratch card to recharge my account, and scratched the card completely, wiping the numbers out of existence, and had to buy another one. 600 bucks down the drain.

That is why I have been banned from the Net. I can only use it for downloads (because that keeps me away from the computer chair) and occasional surfing.
That means that I will no longer be able to have free rein over my computer. Therefore, I will only be uploading wallpapers here from now on.

If any of you wish to unsubscribe to me, or stop talking to me, I will understand. Thanks!

Exams are one week away.

Yesterday, the Olympic torch came to India. Here in Delhi, the run was for a measly 10 minutes, covering just half a kilometer. But as elsewhere, protests against the torch were really strong. A lot of protesters got really hurt and many were arrested. We spent the whole day wearing black armbands as a sign of protest. Strangely, the teachers said nothing.

While on the way back, I got delayed for 30 minutes because of huge jams in the main intersections. Turned out, the police was shifting all traffic from south and north Delhi through the west because of the protests, and voila! A jam. I somehow got home (looking like this ), and watched the good stuff on TV.

Ooooooh, exams are here....

Well, my finals are just a month or so away. After that, I 'll be a sophomore (2nd year) college student, and life'll be soooo better. I can't wait!

Anyway, we held the farewell party yesterday. It was great! We had lots of fun, and our teacher felt so at home with us that she said that she was the happiest teacher alive. We ate a lot of stuff (including a huge-ass cake), danced for a hour and half straight, gave our teacher a lot of gifts (mostly typically Indian stuff to remind her of her time here) as well as a special 'thank-you' card that I'd bought on Monday, signed by the whole class. We clicked a lot of photos to make sure that no one forgot any one. Overall, it went really well. Our labor was not in vain. But it's gonna be hard without sensei. Really hard.

Wow, I'm sooooooo depressed.

One of our teachers is going back home to Japan. And since she's our favorite teacher, we don't want to see her go. But I suppose you can't stop a person from going back to their homeland, can you? So.....we're having a farewell party tomorrow with lots of eats and stuff. We've brought her a beautiful gift as a symbol of her coming here, and I made up the card which everyone's gonna sign tomorrow.

Waaaaaaaah!!!

I guess this one fits perfectly, and you guys might have even heard of it:
SAYONARA ZETSUBOU SENSEI! (or, in our case, Yoshimura sensei)

I can't write anymore. I think I'll start to cry now.
