I just got my philosophy term paper ('What is your philosophy of life?') handed back to me today. I was pretty happy to see a big A+ on the front, but that wasn't all I got. The teacher read it out in front of the whole class!
My philosophy, summarized by the teacher, is this:
1. This world is inexpressibly cruel.
2. This cruelty does not stem from any divine being, but from the unfinshed evolution of man.
3. No divine being exists, and therefore cannot intervene or intercede.
4. The only way to end this world's cruelty is by committing acts of violence, and the propagation thereof.
5. The duty of a Superman is to light the fire of this violence, and to keep stoking it so that men are ever at fear, therefore curbing cruelty.
At the end of it, the teacher said: "This student has tried diligently and honestly to be original in walking down Nietzsche's path." Nice, huh? Tell me what you guys think.
