"Hay wake up." I heard someone say and poke me. "What?" I grumbled and looked up to see Emiko poking me with a stick. "Come on get up." She said again.
I sighed and got up stretching. "What a rude way to wake someone up." I yawned and looked at her. "And didn't I make it clear to stay away from me?" I growled and stalked of.
"Why you little..." She trailed of and I knew she was angry and really pissed. I glanced over my shoulder. "I'm a what?" I asked teasing her slightly.
Man you could just feel the rage coming off her. I snickered. "Wow such an angry person. You should take anger management." I laughed and sat down looking at her.
Blinking I steeped back and growled. "You stupid shapeshifter." She had changed into a kind of vampire and appeared in front of me. "If you think shaeshifters are so stupid you must hate your self!" She shouted back.
I cocked a smile and laughed. "May be true then."

The inside of the bar was dark, and the stench of smoke hung in the air. I downed my drink and raised my hand. "Give me another Cap'n an coke." The bartender nodded, and started to fill my glass. A hand grabbed me by the shoulder and i found myself in the arms of a smelly drunk. "Hey pretty lady! How bout you come with me an ill show you a good time." My eyes narrowed. I tried to push him away, but he tightened his grip. I looked up at him. "For your information i happen to be a guy!" His eyes widened a bit. He looked down and saw that of course i was flat chested. Then he smiled. "You may be a guy, but your pertty enough to be a woman. I dont mind one little bit." I could see i wasnt getting anywhere with this b*stard. I gave him a sexy smile and slid my arms around his neck. Then i stood on my tip toes so i could whisper into his ear. "The last time a man tried to force himself upon me i bit it off!" I felt him stiffen. I leaned back and smiled even bigger showing off my fangs. "So if you wish to keep yours youll let me go." He backed off, but to my amazement the moron had enough brains to point and yell. "VAMPIRE!!!" Everything abruptly stopped. I looked around. "Im not a vampire." The crowd was starting to gather around me. I could pass for a woman and be mistaken for a vampire, but i was neither one. I realized i had to do something fast. I grabbed my sword and got ready to fight. This would be easy, there werent that many of them.

Somehow, I had fallen asleep. And just like always, with sleep came the nightmares. This time, it was my sister's face that haunted me. She was reaching for me as she died, and I was reaching for her. Before we made contact, I was suddenly awake.
Cujo was wrapping a bandage around my shoulder and the herb he had already put on. How had he gotten so close without my noticing it? Stupid nightmares. I didnt jerk or say a thing; I just watched him intently. He wrapped it tight and left it.
"That should work, in the morning let me know how you feel," he told me.
I nodded as he leaned against the rock wall, pulled his cap over his eyes and dozed off. I stared up at the ceiling for a moment, feeling the herbs taking effect. I changed into a lesser vampire. This one had been a noble that I had the pleasure of killing a few years back. She had known a little too much than what was good for her.
The pain wasn't completely gone, but the soothing effect of the herbs helped keep my mind off of it. I got up and went to the mouth of the cave, and crawled up on top of the cave, onto the cool grass. Staring at the moon, I wondered what the next step would be. Where would I go? Would my new "acquaintances" follow?
Did i want them to? The vampire I had changed into was a happy go lucky vamp that hadn't experienced the tragedies of life. This form made me feel about as happy as the previous vamp had made me feel angry. In this form, I wanted friends. I wanted them to be my friends.
Shaking my head, I changed into a neutral demon I had killed just for the pleasure of it six months ago on a routine mission. My mission had been to take out some of the people that were after me, and this demon had been in my way when I had been in a particularly bad mood. This demon could keep his powers in check, so I didn't have to feel those insidious feelings.
I stayed up all night, keeping watch for the hunters should they return. I was getting a little tired, but I had an angel that would take care of that. Changing into a random angel I had the chance of meeting, I was no longer tired, in fact I had energy to burn. It was light out, the sun just peaking over the ridges. I wanted to get a move on, to wherever it was that we were going.
So, I jumped down and woke everyone up.

i walked into the cave and put my back against the rock wall. In no time i had fallen asleep. I woke up to the sound of walking. I opened one eye pretending to be asleep. Emiko walked by in a new teen girl form. She laid down on some moss and eventually dozed off. I looked out of the cave and saw the Moon light had lit up the woods. I walked out and into the trees. After five minutes i came to a pasture. On the very edge was a small shrub growing from under a rock. It was exactly what i needed. I picked some off till i had 2 hand-fulls
I put them on a bolder and started mashing them into mush with a stone. The sap was what cleaned wounds. It was now puttle of much. I put them in a small bag and took off back to the cave. They were all asleep. I walked up to Emiko silently. she was astill asleep. I pulled my knife and cut off the bandages. The wound was turning black. I pulled out some bandages and the erb-mush. I spread the stuff on the bandage and put it over the wound. As i was wrapping it around her arm she woke up. she didnt jerk or say a thing she just watched me. I wrapped it tight and left it. "that should work, in the morning let me know how you feel", i said. She nodded and i leaned against the rock wall. I pulled my cap over my eyes and dozed off.

As I made my way to the mouth of the cave, I made myself walk normal so that they wouldn't be able to see the pain I was in. The last thing I wanted was for them to think I was a pushover. I needed Cujo to get me those herbs, and I needed them now. But, it was too dark out to see the right herbs from the wrong ones.
"I'm not going ANYWHERE near that girl!" I heard Deichi yell loud enough so I could hear him. He settled down and curled up as a fox against a tree.
"I'm not keeping you here!" I yelled back, my hands curled up into fists at my side as I glared at him. I wanted so much to kill him right here and now. But, I didn't have the strength. Once I was at my fullest strength, if he persisted of annoying me, I would have to eradicate him and with great pleasure.
Phyllis walked over to my side, placing a hand on my shoulder, as if telling me to calm down. I took a deep breath and walked into the forest. I needed to get some distance. "Where are you going?" Phyllis asked, concern in her voice.
"I'll be back!" I called over my shoulder, though I didn't turn around. I needed to do something to vent my anger and frustration. I found a lake and sat at the edge, peering at my reflection. I was a frustrated vampire. I wanted to kill something, and there was no one around. The form I was in was angered easily. I needed to morph to someone a little calmer.
I morphed into a sweet, innocent human teenager. One whose greatest problem was worrying about acne or what they were going to wear to school. I shook my head. This girl was my age, and yet I had done things many never completed in their lifetimes.
The pain in my shoulder was getting worse by the second, I pulled down the collar of shirt to get a better look at it. It was turning a dark black, as though it was decaying. Whenever I touched it, the pain only intensified, making me want to cry out, though I refused to utter a sound.
I needed to change back into the vampire form again. I morphed back into the one I had been previously. I would have to deal with the anger. I hoped that no one would get too suspicious that I have been in the same form for so long, as I have never before stayed in one form for this long when I was trying to escape.
I got up and went back to the cave, passed Deichi, Cujo, and Phyllis. I made my way to the farthest point of the cave and curled up on the floor, though sleep eluded me. I knew sleep would not come as I had not had a decent nights sleep since before my parents died.
