I can't believe my luck! I was in a restaurant just relaxing there as a cat...They knew I usually hung out there but didn't know I was a shapeshifter so it was fine.
Then this strange broadcast comes on talking about that a community had been found...I kind like ours and now those stupid humans knew about us.
All I could do was stare dumbfounded at the TV and that was it..I lot my concentration and turned back into my human for in front of everyone. I didn't even notice it at first it was just natural..
The people's screaming jolted me back to reality. "Y-your a shapshifter!" The boss yelled and pulled out a gun((Me: -.-' A restaurant owner was carrying a loaded gun? >>')) and aimed it at me.
"Are you sure you want to do that?" I asked and smiled. He hesitated and that was my moment. I jumped back quickly turning into a small crow and flew away.
I dropped into an alley and changed into a dog since it would most likely attract the less amount off attention...Once I was safely in the forest I flopped down tired from running all this way and using my power so much...
I wonder who the idiot was who got caught anyway...Probably a shape shifter..Never liked other ones anyway...Would be kind of easy too..Heh..I laughed quietly to my self...May be I just didn't like them cause I was envious...They could turn into humans and sometimes animals too...All I could do was turn into animals...
"Wolf! Wolf!" I heard a squirrel chatter. "Yes! Wolf!! Wolf!" Another one said and sprang lightly from tree to tree. "A wolf?" I asked and coked my head and looked at them. The stopped and figured it out soon enough. "Stupid! You not hear? Of course you can! Wolf! Wolf! Shapeshifter after all. Wolf!" The both chattered and ran off.
I shook my head. Never got what squirrels said anyway...But...What was a wolf doing here? I sniffed the air and sure enough I could pick of faint traces of it...But it was somewhat off...
Rolling over I turning into a wolf shaking my brown fur and then started to track the other wolf.
