"Let her go..." Phyllis stated, sticking up for me. I wanted to groan. I hated this helpless feeling I had degraded myself to. Phyllis should NOT have to stick up for me like this. I was such a pathetic creature.
"And what are you going to do.. little girl...?" Cathrine asked, toying with me some more. She was making me walk around the room of her own accord. I couldn't even resist, not even a little. This... person was strong, stronger than any I had ever before encountered.
"Please... let her go. I-I'll pay... Instead of her..." Phyllis replied, taking a step forward. Dang it, Phyllis! Did she even consider what I wanted in this situation. Her life for my own was not what I wanted. She had people that liked her, that would miss her. I was a loner, no one would care that I was gone, most would welcome it.
"I will let her go, but ONLY if you allow yourself to die... from HIS hand..." Catherine pointed at Deichi. Well, so much for that. Deichi wouldn't kill Phyllis; heck, I don't think I would kill her.
He nodded his head, "Yes, I-I" I was blown away. He had agreed? What was he thinking? When I got out of this, he was going to pay for that dearly.
Suddenly, Cathrine was focusing a lot of her energy at Phyllis, as though she recognized her from somewhere. I didn't know much about Phyllis's past, so it could very well have been true. Whatever she was doing, it didn't look like Phyllis was enjoying it too much. "W-What are..." She asked weakly.
"You..." Cathrine said, pointing at her, "You are one of THEM" she snarled the last part. Them, who? I wondered. What were they talking about?
"I-I have no idea what you are talking about..." Phyllis insisted, before falling into unconsciousness. Dang it! I still couldn't move even an inch. She had me in her hold, and good.
Cathrine flicked her hand at me, forcing me to follow her. She put me into the cell, which was probably made for the purpose of keeping preternaturals from escaping. When the doors were all firmly in locked, she released me from her demented grasp. The others were put in a seprerate cell from me.
I morphed into a vampire and tried to pry the bars of the cell apart, but they didn't even budge. Frowning, I changed into a stronger demon and tried using its strength. Again, it didn't work. It would seem as though my powers were useless here. I morphed into a rat and was going to slip through the bars, but the moment I tried, a strong electic current threw me back, and I hit the back wall with a thud.
"Stupid girl. It is useless to try and escape. This cell is especially designed for someone such as yourself. You will not escape," she clucked her tongue and sneered at me.
Groaning, I unintentionally changed into one of my vampire forms as I tried to regain some strength from that electrocution. That had been a massive sized current, meant to stun all who tried to escape. Rolling to my side, I I tried to get up, but the pain from the shock wasn't going away quickly enough.
I tried to morph again, but I nothing happened. I frowned and looked at my body. What was wrong?
"Surprised? Well, you can temprorarily not change into anything. That's what the current does. It disrupts the signals from your brain to any other parts of your body so that it can't tell your body to morph. Ingenious, no?" She smiled at me.
"No," I shook my head and morphed into a fallen angel. Spreading my gigantic wings, I tried to break the cell. Although, I made it move, and I thought I heard a small crack, nothing happened. Dang it!
"Emiko, stop it! You aren't going to get out of there!" Deichi yelled at me from their cell off in the corner. I hated being in the center of the room where everyone could see what I was doing.
"Shut up, Deichi. At least I'm trying to figure a way out," I retorted as I morphed into something else and tried again.
"Fine, go and get yourself killed, the way you are going," he sneered at me.
"Hey, I wasn't the one that was going to kill Phyllis. So, just shut your trap!" I yelled back at him angrily. He was a dead man the moment I got out. How dare he even think of such a thing.
"Children, children," Catherine's voice interrupted us. "Please do not fight. It's unbecoming."
I turned away from Deichi and continued to batter the cell with my arsenal of abilities. Sometime, this cell would have to give from all the strain and pressure I was putting on it. And when that time came. Someone would regret being born.

Whoo! This is getting good!
