Kitty chapter 4; Party

This is short again but I'm having fun playing this game of 'story tennis' with DN-chan!

"No..." Donovan told them, not even turning around.
"Please! C'mon Donovan, I haven't fought in AGES!!!" Maria pleaded. Donovan shook his head.
"Kitty, You, and Victoria are free to go, but MISTRESS..." He grabbed her arm, "Needs to stay, here... She still has a job to do..."
"And what job is this?" Maria asked.
"Well, if you forgot, we need to go on a different type of hunt..." Donovan told her, leading her towards the backdoor. Kitty followed them, burning with curiosity.
“What is it? If we aren’t going after hunnters, then what is it?” Kitty was always eager for a fight, and since taking the responsibility of Victoria that need had been denied.
“We are going after hunnters” Maria said, a light frown played across her face “Aren’t we Donavon?”
“Mistress please” Donavon begged
“How about it?” Kitty asked a grin already on her face after that thought “We go after whatever you have go after then go after hunnters!”
“Mistress, please. I beg of you, for the sake of your life,” Donavon put emphasise on your, mainly because of Maria. “That you come help me. Those two can fight hunnters later, but we NEED this stuff, or we'll have another..." He paused, noticing that they weren't listening. "INCIDENT."
Maria gazed at him politely. "I'll help you, but I agree to your plan Kitty..." She winked at Donovan, "You can come too..." Kitty grinned, it looked that at last they were getting somewhere.

“I can’t believe you dragged me into this!” said Donavon disbelievingly. He looked down at the outfit they had forced him to wear. He was dressed as though he was going to a party. A loud, raucous, party. Kitty and Maria were dressed in the same manner. They didn’t care. In fact, they seemed to enjoy it. Kitty and Maria had glasses in hand, pretending to be drinking alcohol, and getting gradually more ‘intoxicated’ as time past. Kitty couldn’t help it, she laughed, she hadn’t had this much fun in ages. She stopped as a guy tapped Maria on the shoulder, offering her a dance. Kitty didn’t like being ignored. Her spirits went up again as she too were offered a dance. She accepted, feeling like she could dance until sun-up. She probably could too.
