Here's Akari's intro. I hope you all like it. Tell me what you think.
The sun had almost touched the horizon when Akari had left his three room hut. “I'm tired of living like this,” he thought. The young ninja locked the door, not that it made a difference to him. It was just a force of habit.
Akari walked down the street a few blocks to Ayumi Shukketsu's house. Ayumi was his only friend he had in the entire village. She long black hair complemented her bright blue yes and her petite form complimented her cuteness. They had made plans to go out and go on a “Friday night cutie search.” Ayumi had told him a place where cute guys, both gay and straight, went to hang out. The brunette teen was at the front steps when Ayumi opened the door and pulled him right in the house without warning.
Ayumi locked the door and pushed Akari on the couch. “Okay! So there's a change of plans. Apparently the Kazekage from the sand village are coming to negotiate a treaty and-”
Akari cut her off. “And you have to go and be there since your one of our top ninja.” Akari's voice was filled with dismay. Friday's where the only day he got to hangout with Ayumi.
Ayumi continued. “And the Kazekage's siblings are coming along and his brother, from what I hear, is gay and hot.” She had a wide grin on her face that could only be matched by Akari's frown.
“Ayu, as much as I would love to go and meet someone, there's two problems with your plan,” he said with even more sadness.
“And those would be...” she folded her arms across her chest.
“Well for one, I won't be allowed in because I'm not apart of the main counsel like you are. And second, I can't possibly be in the same league as the Kazekage's brother....”
Ayumi grabbed Akari by the shoulders and shook him senselessly. “STOP TALKING THAT DAMMIT AND HAVE SOME CONFIDENCE!”
“Okay okay! Just stop shaking me!!!”
Ayumi let go of the shaken up boy. “That's the spirit!” she yelled passionately.
“There's just one more problem: How am I going to get in to meet him?” Akari asked.
“Easy! I'll just talk to him while I'm in there and I'll set you guys up!”
Akari groaned. He began to think about all of the other times Ayumi set him up with some random guy. “Are you sure this is gonna work?” he asked.
“Yep yep!”
“You're positive?”
“Uh huh!”
Akari gave a sigh. “Why not?”
Ayumi clapped. “Yay! Okay, just wait outside of the council's main building and I'll be there with your date!”
“Oh, joy...”
~A few boring hours later~
“How long does it take to make a freaking treaty?” Akari said to himself in an annoyed tone. He was kicking rocks around, counting how many people walked by, anything to pass the time in front of the main council building. “If Ayumi doesn't walk though that door in five minutes, I might as well just leave....” Akari mumbled with disappointment. He knew better than to give his hopes up. He convinced himself that Ayumi was going to set him up with someone half decent, someone who wouldn't think of Akari as just another piece of meat. He was about to walk off when the door finally opened.
“Akari!” Ayumi glomped the boy. “It as sooooooooooooooo boring! They just kept talking and talking and talking-”
“Umm, Ayumi? Is this the cute boy you where talking about?” said a voice from behind Ayumi.
Akari looked behind her to see a sight that made Akari's heart skip a beat. He saw a guy, about 2 years older than Akari, wearing a black jumpsuit with a circle, half purple, half yellow, on the shirt half of the jumpsuit. He had a black hat that made him look like he had cat ears. His face had purple paint tracing around his eyes, nose, mouth. Akari could see the boy's tone body through his outfit. Akari found the entire look of the boy captivating. He found it mysterious and sexy.
“Yep! This is Akari!” Ayumi exclaimed in her cute voice snapping Akari out of his trance like state.
“Well, it's nice to meet you Akari. I'm Kankuro,” the guy said shaking Akari's hand. “Ayumi's told me a lot of good things about you and I think I may have a question for you.”
Akari raised an eyebrow. “What is it?”
“Would you like to go on a date with me sometime?”
