Trivia: One of the greatest conundrums in FSN has been the nature of the relationship between Shirou Emiya and Archer. Clues for this can be found in the ending credits of the episode where Archer dies. He leaves behind an object that brings the relationship to light: a pendant, the very same magic pendant that Rin had once used to save Shirou when he was stabbed by Lancer. Therefore, Archer is actually Shirou's future (which is why none of the other servants know him and also why he possesses tracing sorcery which produces the same swords Shirou will later trace).
