Death Note Rap Song Update
Earlier this week I mentioned that the Death Note Rap I found on You Tube was in the completion stages and would be available Tuesday.
The rapper/producer Shivah Frost is currently still perfecting the song, and says it will be available for free download soon. Even if you are not a fan of rap music, Death Note fans should not be disappointed. The song will feature a second artist, who will be playing the part of ‘L’ and Shivah Frost himself will be in character as Light Yagami.
As for me, I am just eagerly awaiting the release, and the minute its available to the pubic, Outaku.com will be the first to know here on my Death Note Tribute Blog!
Was L ever accused of being a 'Kira-like' figure?
In the TV series, in episode ten, “Doubt” (@18:00) Light and L are leaving the hospital after Lights dad has a heart attack.

Light: Ryuuka, what would it take to get you to believe that I am not Kira?
L: If you are not Kira, it won’t be necessary. Let things run their course and the truth will be revealed.
Light: I can’t take this anymore! Put yourself in my position. How do you think it feels to be accused of being Kira!?
L: (pause) It was one of the worst feelings ever.

After seeing this scene, I couldn’t help but to ask myself....
What does L’s response mean....? Was he actually putting himself in Light’s shoes and answering this question?
OR
Was L previously in Lights position in a separate situation? Had L been accused of being a “Kira-like” figure in the past?

I thought I would pose the question to those of you that actually read this new Death Note blog....what do you think?
I decided to refer to the manga...what does it say for this scene?

Try to imagine what it feels like to be suspected of being a mass murderer!
L: (...) It must feel rather terrible.

So after reading the manga, it seems that it could be a difference in translation....but what if....WHAT IF L had actually been a suspect in a mass murder case before? mmm ... suppose to clear his name he had to solve the case himself and this is when L was born....just a thought.
Death Note Rap comming on Tuesday!
ok. So after finding the AMVs posted yesterday, I contacted the artist of the Death Note rap song (Shivah Frost) to find out where I could download it. As it turns out, he is not finished with it, and on TUESDAY it will be available for free download...I guess on his myspace page (I am waiting to confirm). He said he was going to add some verses...I am pretty excited. Here is is the link to his myspace page:
