I'm filled with a lot of inspiration right now, but I have no idea what to do with it. I know I have to work on my 4-koma panel, and it's already underway. I'm also trying to finish up some drawings that I started over a year ago, but I might not post them right away due to Survival Instincts spoilers.
Other than that, I don't know what to do. I'd do some art trades, but I'm going to have to start drawing prizes for the Challenge I'm hosting, since it's ending in two days. So I'll have to postpone trading.
I want to do something "big" with my art-- something more than fill a 9" x 12" piece of paper. I just have no idea what that would be. I'm almost afraid to think about it. I dream big, but when it comes time to do something, I don't know where to begin. I get intimidated by my ideas.
For example, I want to make this fan manga, but I don't know what to do first. Script? Concept sketches? How do I even do that stuff?
I also realize that when I try to get ideas out quickly and put them on paper, they look kind of bad. Like my ACen comic. Which I'm still struggling with. So if you're wondering why I churn out artwork so slowly, that's why. I really want to be quick and good like some of you. Heck, I just want to beat out those base-defacers that have been occupying the leader boards with their Mary Sue junk. Yeah, I keep saying "I want" but I never do anything about it. I don't even know what to do.
But enough ranting. I'm not in as much of a bad mood as that previous paragraph might make you think. I just want to learn to focus more. I have a lot of time on my hands, and I need to harness that. Either I'm bored although I have things to do, or inspired without ideas. I just don't want that inspiration to go to waste.
Edit: I'm going to refresh this once a day for the sake of exposure.
Edit Part Deux: I guess I didn't make good on the comment in my first edit. Oops.
This year's summer event will be somewhat of a combination of a few of the ideas that I previously presented. It shall be a 4-koma round robin.
Basically, the premise is simple. Each person does one panel of a 4-koma. There will be as many comics as there are participants, so everyone gets to start one. Anyone can participate, but if there are a lot of people who sign up, not everyone will be working on all the same comics.
I will be turning the 30DOA World into a home base for this activity, so all additional rules and announcements will be posted there.
Sign-ups begin NOW and will go through June 8. The event will start June 15. I haven't figured out whether each person should work on their panel for one or two weeks. Input would be appreciated.
Questions? Comments? Flamingos? Please leave them in the comment box. Except maybe the flamingos. They may not fit.

I think this post originated from ItachiSasuke. I just copied and pasted, hence the spelling in REAL English as opposed to American English.
If you would like to sign up, please leave a comment. Registration goes until June 8. After registering, you may start your first panel, but don't post it until June 15.
Hey everybody. It's getting to be summer, so I want to do another summer event. The problem is that I can't think of a good one. Since 30DOA was only half successful, I think I'd want to stay away from that.
Here are some half-formed ideas that I have. I just want to bounce them off you guys.
- A manga "troupe" where everyone does one aspect of a manga. This probably would take longer than the summer, though.
- Something with OC crossovers.
- A fill-in-the-blank comic in which one person draws pictures and another person fits dialogue to it.
- A story/idea development clinic.
I'd be happy to hear other ideas, suggestions, and input from you guys. If anyone wants to help co-host, please let me know.
