Chapter 1: So Starts The Story...
TWEEET! "Alright! Everyone out of the way! Night Class is coming through!" Yuki Cross, class prefect. She was right on time once again, standing on the top of the stone gate, controlling everyone who was waiting to idolize the night class. Feh, not me. I'm not part of the Night Class' legion of fangirls. Personally, I think they need to stop prancing around and do something. Why in the worlds do those girls love them? Ah, well. Oh, who am I to judge? Name's Kagami Diamante. 16 years old. Platinum blonde hair, deep blue eyes. Loner and anti-social at that. I mean, don't get me wrong. I don't want to be lonely, but sometimes life makes you. But perhaps,if I was in the Night Class, I'd have some friends...
That's when I started wondering: What makes the Night Class so special? Good grades, no. Plenty of smarties in my class (me included). Popularity, maybe. But then why isn't anyone else allowed? This was making my head hurt. With a sigh, I put my iPod earbuds in my ears, pressed play and left.
However, that question irked me still. Why can't we have pictures of the Night Class? Why is it so important to be in our dorms at night? Whenever we get a cut, no matter how small, how come we are rushed as far as posible away from the Moon Dorm? Augh, too many questions to deal with right now.
I stood in front of the gate to the Sun Dorm. Then it hit me. The Night Class...they only come out at night. They sense blood. They get excited at the prospect of it, too. It's like they're..."Vampires..." I finished my thought out loud. "Wait, what am I saying? Vampires don't exist here." Well, as far as I know. I almost went to my room. Almost. But again, that was irking me, so I turned and ran the other direction.

I'm not like a track person or anything, I just ran so the prefects couldn't catch me or anything. I came to my sanctuary on this world. A tall, proud oak tree. It's simple, to be sure, but I love it anyways.
I concentrated my magic and levitated once I made sure no one was around. Can't let them see me using magic, now can we? I levitated up to about 20 feet high and finally sat down on a branch. Sigh, the light breeze felt great, blowing all of my troubles away.
"And so I made sure that..." Voices. Below me. I jumped down silently until I could see who it was. Night Class students, terrific.
It was Aidou-Sempai and Kain-Sempai. Aidou must've been talking for a while, because Kain looked kind of annoyed. I wanted to shift positions a little to get a better look, so I grabbed the branch above me to help me without giving my postion away by falling ever so gracefully. As I slid my hand just slightly an small prick annoyed my hand.
I was more balanced now, so I drew my hand away. "Aw, crap." I whispered, looking at my palm with it's small cut. "Stupid. I'm such a moron."
Aidou stopped walking.
"You smell it, too." Aidou commented.
"Blood." They said together.
"Shoot!" I whispered. I had to get out of here. But where can one go? I can't teleport, that'd be too obvious with the incantations. "I have to wait this one out." I decided. Looking down, Aidou and Kain-Sempai left. "That was fast." I lowly said to no one in particular. "They didn't stay long." I lightly floated down. "Now, to act normal and go find some magic to borrow..." Ever since I came here, I've had to borrow magic from the Chairman (the only one who knows of my 'condition').
"Let me help you, young lady." Suddenly, Aidou was beside me, holding my cut hand.
"I'm good." I took my hand back. What is with the Night Class?
"Please." He snatched my hand again. This time, he held it close to his face. "Ah, the sweet sent of lood. Yours is so unique and intoxicating. I love that about you." I saw him open his mouth. Fangs. Perfect. Before I could counter-act, the strangest thing happened.
Aidou bit my hand.
