I'm a Christian.
I've had problems with depression so occasionally things can get a little dark here. But I'm doing much better now.
I go to an AMAZING church. I can't get there very often, but I go whenever I can.
I do not have a boyfriend as of yet. But I'm in the market ;p
I am very random. VERY. Crazy and I love it. So be prepared ^^
I like to write fanfics and random stories. I have a fanfic on my other world and it will be finished eventually, I swear!! Just... Don't hold your breath, ne?

I've been home schooled since the tenth grade and recently graduated high school.
I have a kitty named Artemis. He's my baby and he's what helped me through my depression the most.
I babysit and I like to talk about the baby and post pictures because while I may not have the "math gene" I definitely got a double dose of the "mothering gene."

Book Review 1

Bastard Out of Carolina by Dorothy Allison
This book was great. Wonderfully written, and I enjoyed it to an extent. However, I do NOT recommend it unless you can handle reading about sexual abuse. It had me in tears more than once.
This book is the story of Ruth Anne Boatwright, called Bone. Born when her mother was only fifteen, she never knew her father. Her mother marries when Bone is young and gives birth to a girl, Bone's new sister Reese. But not long after that, her husband dies in a car accident. All Anney, Bone's mother, wants is someone that will love her and love her kids. She thinks she's found it in Glenn. At first, things are wonderful. Bone has a father and a family like she wanted. But on the night her mother gave birth to her baby brother, Daddy Glenn did something awful to her. She pretends it didn't happen and tells no one. But when the baby dies, things get much worse. Glenn beats her, and defends himself to Anney by telling lies. He claims Bone yelled at him, said she hated him, called him names. And Anney always believes it. The abuse, physical and sexual, happens often. Bone tries to stay out of his way, but she can't do it forever. All she can do is hold on to the hate. She wanted a father to love her, but Daddy Glenn isn't it.
I won't say more because I don't want to give it away to anyone who does decide to read it. Just be warned it doesn't have a happy ending. It upset me to the point that I wrote Bone into the story my best friend and I are writing so I could make her happy. I've only ever done that once before, so you know this was pretty bad. Though the entire book isn't about the abuse (it also discusses Bone's friends, her family's problems, and her dream to be a gospel singer) it is the main focus of the book.

Computer better and the Great Centipede Escapade

My mom's genius friend came over and fixed everything. Computer is totally clean, and Thursday he's going to put more memory on it since we're pretty much completely filled up lol.
My cat just tried to eat the biggest centipede I have ever seen in my life. The thing was like 2 and a half inches long. I scooped him up and ran upstairs to get my grandma, because I am the biggest wimp ever, and she killed it. Then Arty was mad, because she took his snack -_-
So, I don't think I told you guys about the time I was sexually harassed. It was scary at first but I won in the end so now I sort of think it's funny because I scared the crap out of the guy. So, the lady that does my hair knows this guy because she does his mom's hair. He's a sweet guy, my age, same interests. She asks if she can give him my number, I checked with my mom, and she said yes. So we texted for a long time, and he was really sweet. Then one day he told me he's going to a party so I figured I wouldn't hear from him for a few hours. But then I start getting texts saying "Let's do it" and "Hey, babe, send naked pics." I was on Facebook at the time and Billy messaged me saying his friend had taken his phone and it was him texting that to me. One, why was he on Facebook at a party, and two, why message me instead of going to get his phone? So I was pretty upset about it, called the guy a few un-Christian words, and he left me alone. I talked to Billy about it later and he said it was no big deal. Uh, I was 17 at the time, he was 18. It's called ILLEGAL, moron. I believed Billy at the time that it was his friend but now I have reason to believe it really was him. So we don't talk anymore.Anyway, my mom and I called the police. I later told Billy that while he was talking to the guy who "really" did it. I said I called the police and if it ever happened again I would be filing a report for sexual harassment of a minor. He was sorry then. I win. What bothered me most about it though, was that my girl friends really felt for me but my guy friends were all saying it was no big deal, he was just messing with me. Somebody even told me he isn't my boss and it's not disrupting my work, so it doesn't matter. Did I mention ILLEGAL?? The only one of my guy friends that I told who actually cared was Danny. He's seriously the sweetest guy I've ever met. When I told him about it he said he would kill the guy for me, and still would like to rip his head off. My uncle actually threatened to go after the guy with a gun. I'm loved XD
In happier news, I finished the first book I want to read by college. So I'm going to do a review of it, but I think I'll save that for my next post.

Bleh

Just wanted to let you guys know that I don't know when you'll hear from me again, our computer is down and my mom has called a friend who can't help and Geek Squad, who said they would call back and didn't. So right now I'm at the library and their computers suck :(

Phones ringing in dead silence is terrifying

Okay, so I'm just sitting here, working on my computer applications class, and the only sound is the TV playing very quietly over in the corner. And all of a sudden my phone starts SCREAMING my Breaking Benjamin ringtone! Scared the crap out of me! My grandpa called by accident XD So of course I called back, I thought maybe something was wrong cuz he's got a lot of health problems lately, but no. Just pushed the wrong button XD
I've finally got a moment to breathe. Been busy busy the last few days. School, cleaning, college stuff, then I had a sleepover and it took me about 3 days to recover lol.
I've finally started on my list of books I want to read by college. The first two are Bastard out of Carolina by Dorothy Allison and I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou. I'm tihnking that as I finish reading these books, I'm going to post little book reviews on here. Fun for me, hopefully for you too.
I have a rare moment at the computer without my cat. He loves to "help" me type, sit in front of the screen, sit in my lap so I can't pull the keyboard out, and attack my feet. But now he's napping. I can type in peace! lol
When I went to spend the night at my best friend's house, we went to the Catholic church where her uncle lives (pretty cool) and had dinner with him and his girlfriend. I had vegan meatloaf for the first time, and it wasn't too bad. After that we went around the church, just enjoying the prettyness. By that time it was too dark for me to take pictures like I'd hoped (I love old beautiful churches), so we decided to see if we could get any paranormal pictures. And boy did we get orbs. In one picture, I counted eleven orbs. I've never gotten that many. But the freakiest was when B-chan took a picture as I was walking up the stairs, and there was an orb ON my head. Not above. ON. Now I know that a lot of the time orbs can be explained away by the camera flash reflecting off of dust or a bug or something, but I believe that sometimes it is indeed energy left behind by someone who died. And if there's anyplace that's going to be haunted, I think it's a church. I came right back down those stairs. We got freaked out later when I noticed the date stamp on my camer was wrong, and all the pics of the church were marked May 5, 2007. (Or 15, I can't remember exactly) My camera resets itself sometimes, so I wasn't freaked, just annoyed. Until B-chan asked her uncle what the date was when the church caught fire. He had to think for a long time and I was sitting there like this: O_O He finally said he wasn't sure but he thinks it was March, two years ago. I'm going to do a little more digging on that though.
I have some drawings that I want to put up, but our scanner is broke. :( Very sad.
Well this isn't a very long post, not as long as I'd hoped anyway, but I have college stuff to lok up. Bleh.

Today's Random Thought: If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

The random thought from last time is one of my faves XD I've probably posted it before but it's good for a laugh.
Let's see, what do I have to post about? Oh, my mom and I went to the college campus where I'm hoping to go. I picked up an application. Small school, I'm pretty much guaranteed to get in unless I'm really really stupid or something. I'm going to major in English - Creative Writing.
I started my second semester of school a couple days ago. No more speech class! Yay!! Now I have computer applications, in addition to keyboarding. It's fun, I like it, but it takes me over an hour. Thus the burning eyes.
I'm trying to finish up the library books I've got out so I can work on the list I found of 101 books you should read by college. I'm already read The Diary of Anne Frank, The Scarlett Letter, Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet. Just got to finish reading all the books I have out about Jack the Ripper first XD
I think that's all I have to post about. Man I'm boring today XD
