Dear Nina,
Day Four of Self Defense Class
I had to wake up REALLY early today. Fine, 5:50 AM isn’t REALLY early compared to some times others wake up. Whatever. Still, to me it was early cause I’ve been sleeping until 8:00 AM since like summer started! And I couldn’t believe my mom woke me up SO early! I mean, I was right in the middle of a good dream!! AHH! And I won’t have that dream again! Oh well… Anyway, first I ate breakfast, then got ready. Then I got all the stuff I was going to bring, and we left. Actually, we all rushed. So anyway, on the way there, I just listened to music, and I was still extremely tired. But when we got there, I went from tired to nervous. My mom had to go golfing with some people from her work, so we had to stay with one of her coworkers. And well, first we got out of the car, and then into her office. I've never been inside her office before!! It has many pictures of my brother and I and some stuff I made for her. Then we went into my mom's coworker's office. So we were left there. But it's okay, cause it was fun!
The coworker's daughter's name is Grace. She's a really nice girl! And she's like only a few months younger than me! It was fun cause at first I was that "shy girl". And then as we played our games together, I was acting myself again. But first, both of us played New Super Mario Bros. using DS Download. Then I played Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades while my brother played the same game with her. I then stopped playing and they continued for like, 1 hour and 30 minutes. They really enjoyed that! I mean, Grace kept laughing and stuff. Then we all got bored and played with my bouncy ball I got for free the other day. We played catch, made up games, etc. Then we played Monkey in the Middle and started making alot of noices. Hehe. But you know what? That's was REALLY fun. It was funny too at some parts! Then my mom came at 11:00 AM. Wow. And she dropped us off there at like 8:00 AM. 3 hours! Anyway, then she and the coworker decided that we would take Grace to the Army Festival.
Yeah. My mom's in the army, so today we went to ANOUTHER festival. So we took Grace there. It was fun in the car! And when we got there, there was ALOT of people. First we went and got some food. It wasn't that good. Then after that, we all went and checked out the reptiles. I held a HUGE snake like last year! There was also lizards and a hedgehog! IT WAS COOL!! The hedgehog was ADORABLE. After that, it seemed like Grace disappeared. Yeah, she went with her brother. Then they all got some ice cones (which I hate) and then I sat down. BORING. Then I had cake. And I collected the little necklaces around (there were Marti Gras necklaces). I ended up having 18. That's alot. My brother got 11. Then I just sat in the place, until like 3:00 PM. All I did was play with waterbottles, look around, etc. There was a Watermellon Eating Contest, those bouncy things, a waterslide, and more. But I just sat there. Then this Softball Game started and lots of people went to watch it. And then my brother played on the waterslide. Yeah, I got bored. Then it was FINALLY time to clean up, and then we did. I even got more necklaces that way! Then we played around and sat down. There were alot of kids there. Most of them enjoyed the waterslide the most. I know my brother did. I did not try it. *sobs* Then we finally walked back to the car. Grace had already left. Then in the car, my brother took a nap.
When we were driving home, my mom turned to go onto this other rode, right? And then there were cones! She had to get out and move them just to get through. Then the other people behind us were able to get through too. But then a little while after that, we found out why those cones were there. Silly us. :P Yeah. They were there because the rode was closed. Well, DUH! *cough* And then we had to turn. Then while we were waiting for the red light to turn green, someone had already closed the gap my mom made between the cones. And other cars still didn't understand, so one car actually ran over a cone! It was hilarious, but dangerous, yes. It was funny though. Then we went onto anouther rode. But weirdly, that rode was closed too, and we ended up where we were just at! Haha. So we went around in two circles. That's hilarious.
When we got home, I put all my stuff away and then ate dinner. It was leftovers. Then I read Shugo Chara on my brother's computer. Then we got ready and left. All I had to do was switch my pants. Then we went inside the car. I just listened to music again. Then since we were 30 minutes early, my dad decided to get a haircut. Bad idea. But whatever. We had to leave him there or we would have been late. I didn't want to though. But it's okay cause he came in like 5-10 minutes after we started.
Today in our last day of Self Defense class, we first went onto the mats and took off our shoes. This time, I was called up first like 80% of the time. Maybe cause I actually observe and watch and do it right sometimes. Anyway, first we did the flip. First we did the flip. He told me to do the Judo throw and how was I supposed to remember which one was the Judo throw? So he got kind of disappointed, but who needs to know the names when you can do good? That's what I did! I was good! And I got it right the first time while everyone got it right like the 5th try or something. Then we did the other flip. The others took forever on that. Then we had to combine the moves. I did great. Then, he called Mac up, and then me. WE HAD TO BATTLE EACH OTHER! Yes, by using the flips *gulp*. That was scary. We had to stand up. And he wasn't that good. I mean, whenever we play around, my dad tries to flip me, and he's brutal!! :P But thank you. If it hadn't been for my dad, I wouldn't have had much experience and I would have fell. But since I was good, I ACTUALLY FLIPPED HIM FIRST! Go me!! YAY! And they all cheered for me, except for you-know-who. I can't believe I won! Anyway, then it was Mac's turn against the instructor. He took a while too. The my brother against the instructor. My brother did well. Then Angelique. She did good. Today I think we only learned 1 move. And it was a one when you twist the hand. That was a little boring. We didn't have alot of time because we were busy combining our moves into fights. It was cool! Then I had to "knock-out" the instructor (not for real). First I did the push kick, then the thigh kick, then I finished it off with the knee-to-head move. Go me... again!! And then, well, everyone did well. I should have flipped him though. There was more, but I don't remember everything. Heh. I do remember I was both happy and sad that this was over. I was sad because it was so fun and I didn't want it to end. But I'm happy it's over cause now the instructor doesn't have to mimick me laughing. I mean, I LAUGH TOO MUCH whenever we're there. I can't help it. I guess I laugh when I'm nervous. So then we all talked about the other classes again. And we will be joining *sobs* I don't want to. And even the instructor said he won't be joking around in that class. You mean he was joking around in this class? Oh it'll be hard! My mom didn't think so cause she tried the moves on my father during the class. It was funny. We then got our certificates! I got a shirt and a certificate. I got mine first. And we took a picture. Then my brother, then Angelique, then Mac. We then took a picture with our instructor, Master Kyo Ne Nam (I think that's his name). Goodbye!! And then we left.
On the way home, we were sad, but I still continued to brag about me beating up a boy. When we got home, we practiced with my mom and dad again. And I can now flip my dad! AND SO CAN MY BROTHER! Wow! I couldn't believe my brother could! AMAZING! He's so short too! But that's the beauty of Judo and Akito (psht, Akito) techniques. Then my brother and I played downstairs and faught each other until my brother started crying. And they think my brothers... aggressive? He's only like 1/4 aggressive at the classes than he was at home. And he's 1/4 aggressive as I am. So we faught, yeah. Then he took a shower, and I read. Then I took a shower. Then I joined my dad watching a movie. But I then got on the computer at like 10:30 PM and read Shugo Chara and typed this. I LOVE Shugo Chara now! :3 Anyway, this was a good day. *cries* No more Self Defense classes!

Question & Answer:
