Dear Nina,
Day Six of Building Our Deck
No work on our deck today either. WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO FINISH IT!? SO anyway, wow. Today was not a typical day in my boring life. Actually, it started off average and normal, but in the afternoon, everything got all, chaotic. Not really, but a little. Okay, so my day started with me waking up at 10:00 AM. That's pretty impressive, concidering the fact that I went to sleep at 3:00 AM yesterday. Hmph. Anyway, then I layed on the couch, watching my brother dance to music again for like only 30 minutes this time. Then my mom left to go to her "Decorate a Cake" class. Then I went to my bedroom and watched more of some Shugo Chara episodes because I felt like it. Then we made our food and ate.
My brother and I had arguements again, but that always happens. And he got mad at me for not watching this show he wanted me to watch. Heh. After finishing my healthy pizza, I read Naruto. Then I went on my computer. And then my dad came home. And then I went downstairs because I got upset again. Then my mom came home and we ate dinner. Dinner was Chinese Kitchen food. YUMMY!! :3 And after we finished that, my mom showed us her decorated cake from her class. It was a beautiful rainbow. And then we ATE IT! YUM! After, I slipped into my fitness clothes (a shirt and some shorts) and my brother and I went outside and went biking. It was pretty out. But I could have sworn I felt a raindrop. Then after about 15 minutes, my brother and I went back inside. Mostly because we had an arguement when going up a hill. And we didn't finish because he turned back and I had to follow him. And I was the first to go inside, and he went inside after about 3 minutes.
Then I went upstairs to my bedroom and read Naruto again. Ahh. I love laying on my floor and reading. But I was then interrupted by my parents asking if my brother and I wanted to watch a movie instead of play on the computer. I was not on the computer at the time, but my brother was. He's always on Gaia Online. I used to always be on there too, but now I have better stuff to do. And then I raised my hands up to stretch, wishing we didn't have to watch a movie, and the lights went out. THE POWER WAS OUT! Wow. And then I put my hands back down, and the lights went on! WHOA! Then I put my hands back up, and then the lights went out again. And then I put them down again, and they were still out. Haha. That was cool though! It's like I had magical powers! But there was now a new problem: AHH! WE HAD NO POWER!
Okay. No power means no electricity. No electricity means no internet. AHHHHFLA (ahfla?)! "How am I going to type my journal entry?" I though. But usually when this happens, the lights always go back on after like 5 minutes. So then 5 minutes past. And so I had to turn off this thing in the basement. I don't understand why my dad couldn't do it. He was busy munching on some nuts. Hmph. And so my brother and I took the flashlight and I went into the part of the basement that was not finished, and had to turn off this thing. That was a little scary. After that, I went to my bedroom and tried reading. But it was getting so dark and I had no light. So when I went downstairs to get the flashlight, we heard a firetruck. And then we saw that there was a firetruck in our neighbor's driveway! RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE!
I had a great view in my brother's bedroom. Two reasons why: 1. He has a huge window, bigger than mine. 2. His window is facing the house in front of us. So yeah. And I was able to see the whole thing. My dad was with me and my mom and my brother were watching downstairs, from the front door. And then my dad went downstairs and outside to see what the problem was. All of our neighbors were outside, curious about what the problem was. Was there a fire?! Did the storm cause a fire? Wait. But there wasn't even lightning. Then why did the lights go out? Hmm. It was actually because of some random thing. But I forgot what it was. See? Random. But anyway, from my brother's bedroom, the firefighters used a ladder to get on top of the roof. And then they used a thing to open the window. Cool. Ugh, but someone was in danger! And then all our neighbors, including my father watched. And then they opened the window. There were 2 trucks! And then I went downstairs to get a snack. I'm. So. Dumb. Anyway, then they tried knocking on the door and trying to get in the house. Then as fast as the appeared, they left. Why? Hmm. And everyone went back. Then my dad came back inside the house to tell us that a lady from next door called them because there is a pregnant lady inside that house and since the lights turned off, she wanted to make sure she was okay. Yeah. False alarm. But it was really cool watching the firemen take the window off the house.
Then I went downstairs and then my mom told me to take a shower. I had to leave the windown open for light while I took a shower. My mom even used candles! Anyway, it was kind of hard to take a shower in the dark. Then after that, I went upstairs and started typing my journal entry on Microsoft Word. Then suddenly, the lights went on!! THANK GOODNESS! And I even ran downstairs and hugged my brother! I WAS SO HAPPY! Plus, it was getting really dark. And then I fixed the internet and my parents watched a movie together. Haha. Then I turned on the lights and was able to see again! YAY! Yeah. Since I took a shower early, like around 8:00 PM (lately, I've been taking a shower around like 10:00 PM), I was able to stay on the computer for like 4 hours already! And my brother and I played a little on Gaia Online. And I also had to find all the pages I had up before my computer shut down and lost it. And then I watched Lucky Star. Then I drew. And then I read Naruto. And now, I'm typing this. Yes. What a great day. My favorite part was when the lights turned back on and I was screaming for joy, knowing that I'll be able to watch TV before I go back to sleep. Haha... And I also liked the 4 hours I had before going to sleep. I read, drew, and watched anime. I love Lucky Star! IT'S SO FUNNY! Heh. Yeah. I was even okay when my brother kept barging into my bedroom telling me to go on Gaia Online. Hahahaha!! :3

Question & Answer:

Q: How long did it take you to type this?
A: A while. I had to stop in between, so I don't really know.
