Dear Nina,
OMG! What a long day! Well, my throat was sore in the morning. We had Algebra for 2 periods. Chorus was fun cause we went on the risers. We had a substitute in Tech Ed. During Social Studies we had a fire drill and we just watched the other's presentations and read. And after school, I stayed with Aisha and Betsy. Well, Betsy left early, and Aisha left too. Good thing my dad picked me up early! And so my dad and I just waited in the car for my mother (I made a clubhouse in the back and used an umbrella). And also, we went to Home Depot. After, we went to KFC. Yeah, and when my brother called me a name, I accidently said a bad word, in front of my dad. I was shocked, I meant to say something else. And yeah, I REALLY feel bad about it. Ugh. I can't believe I said that. And well, he didn't say anything about it. I hope he didn't get mad.
Then we went home, and since I had a Chorus Concert (didn't find out until today), I had to get my clothes ready. Then my dad dropped me off. It was fun cause I was really nervous! I could feel my face turn red. When we went up to sing, I started sweating! And guess what? As soon as we were going to start our second song, the fire bell started ringing!! DURING THE SONG! And everyone paniced but then the teachers said it was a false alarm. Weird. I mean, you're singing, on the stage, and the fire alarm goes on!? Weird... again. Anyway, we did better than the 6th graders, that's for sure.
After the concert, I introduced Ariana and Betsy to my brother and dad (mom didn't come). Aisha probably forgot to come to the concert cause she wasn't there. Then we went home. Well, I lost my voice. I can't even talk. And when I try to, it hurts. So atleast I got to sing a little.
