Continued from: An Envious Shade of Green...
Ulquiorra headed out to the only place he knew that he could find Ivy. The human realm. He stepped from the garguanta looking around the location he was transported. Seeing nothing of the source he sought, he began to walk. Half way through town, he became disgusted with his search. He wanted Murcielago back at his side, but the annoying riddles and the search for his companion was starting to wear thin on him. He stood in place, his eyes searched the area. However, his mind was not on the search. It was on the activities that had transpired in Las Noches over the last few days. He wished he had his fraction at his side as well, but Lord Aizen made that impossible to occur.
Ulquiorra narrowed his eyes annoyed more than when he started. The loss of his sword, the loss of his fraction; what was it all for? What was to be proven by this happening? His anger flared even more and he was about to open the gate and head back to Las Noches when he heard a familiar voice behind him. He turned quickly hoping to see his fraction, but to his dismay it was only two girls, talking within a group on the walkway across the street from him. However, when the group cleared, his eyes fell upon a patch of Ivy. He could not help but to look back at the young girl he heard. She sounded nothing like his fraction now that he paid better attention to her. Though, he knew he heard Kita’s voice. He lifted his head looking toward the heavens.
“I do not believe in such things," he said, "but thank you.” he whispered under his breath.
He walked slowly to the Ivy, plunging his hand into the patch once next to it. When that did not work, he then started to part the Ivy with both hands looking for something white. Finally, knee deep in the Ivy patch, he found it, a neatly folded white piece of paper. Lifting the note he unfolded it and read:
((Sorry I was to have this up for Master Ulquiorra last night, but I got side tracked by two soul reapers *smiles*))
