Tsukiro continued to cry and lash out. The restraints held fast but they creaked and rattled. His reiatsu became even more fierce and forceful. He strained against the Bakudo spells, growling loudly. As his reiatsu radiated, ice began to coat the restraints. Eventually, they were frozen and covered in ice and with one last push they cracked apart and Tsukiro was free. He threw himself to his feet and lunged at Kita.
"Traitor! Betrayer! Murderer!!"
Kita defend herself against him as he lashed out at her. “I can’t kill! Yes! I betrayed you all in what I did, but Aizen has to be stopped! You know that as well as I, Tsukiro!”
She jumped back again from one of his attacks putting her high in another tree.
Tsukiro held his hand out. In his hand formed a blade of hardened ice. Once it finished forming, he swung it towards the trunk of the tree. A shockwave of ice shaped like a crescent moon shot from the blade and sliced the tree's trunk, causing it to fall. As it fell, Tsukiro shunpo'ed to Kita and swung his sword at her.
Kita wrapped her reiatsu around the blade of her sword as it burned a bright and hot flame of blue. Their swords cried out in the silence of the forest as collided together, she forced him back a step. She then quickly turned her blade pushing Tsukiro’s blade down and forcing him back farther. She finally gave him one good push backward and she leapt back and away from him.
As Tsukiro landed on his feet several feet back, he held his free hand out. As he did, hundreds of small kunai knives formed and flew at her at high speed like a swarm of bees.
Kita reacted quickly her blade spinning and knocking all the kunai that came at her. She was doing well when one snuck past and grazed her left arm. her arm fell numb and she could no longer grip the hilt of her sword. Turning to face Tsukiro with her sword now in her right hand she narrowed her eyes at him.
“If dead is what you want of me. Then you need to try much harder than that.” She pointed the tip of her blade at him and called out. “SLASH!”
At that her sword transformed into a single blade with a weighted chin. She caught the blade in her right hand as the chain rested in her limp dead left hand.
Tsukiro flipped over his ice sword and stabbed it into the ground. Instantly the ground froze over within several dozens of meters. Then, needle like spikes of ice shot up from the ground underneath Kita's feet.
Kita jumped straight up as she looked down at the ice coming from the ground. She landed in a near by tree. Keeping her eyes trained on Tsukiro. Shaking her head she knew she was going to have to call out her flames to melt his ice. Soon there would be nowhere to stand if he kept throwing ice spears from the ground.
Tsukiro looked up at the tree tops. "Still climbing trees like a coward?!"
Tsukiro shunpo'ed up to the top of the trees but was cut short by Yoruichi slamming into him, forcing him back to the ground. The two of them fought, a blur of black, orange, and white. Neither of them had the upper hand. Yoruichi would pin him then Tsukiro would flip her off. Yoruichi would counter only to have Tsukiro weave around her, grab her waist by his legs, slamming her down on the ground with enough force to stun her temporarily.
Tsukiro stood up and turned back to Kita. He created a second blade and raised them both up to her in the tree tops.
"Kita! Don't listen to anything he says!! He's not aware of what he's saying!!! Just ignore him and try to wear out his body and spiritual energy!!!" Yoruichi shouted, coughing.
The feeling started coming back to Kita’s arm and hand slowly as she stood in the tree. It was far from enough to be able to control her weapon. But she still had her right arm. She was not about to let him get the best of her in this crazy fight of emotions that has exploded from him.
She flicked her wrist and the single blade turned to four. Concentrating her powers into the blade she released it toward Tsukiro. It turned into a large ball of blue flames. The faster it got to spinning the smaller it got. However, the stronger it got. Soon the ball was no larger than a baseball.
"Hah! Pathetic!!"
Tsukiro crossed his swords in front of him and created a tall, triple layer wall of ice. The fire ball exploded and melted through the first layer and part of the second.
Yoruichi reacted quickly to the opening. "Hyapporankan!" Yoruichi staked him through the back, nailing him to his own walls of ice.
"Kita, now! Before he gets loose again!!"
Kita nodded jumping down from the tree. On her descent she called out. “Rage, Fuego Garra!”
Her blade vanished and Kita found herself on all fours. She was twice the size of a bengal tiger her body concealed in an ivory colored armor and her body consumed in blue flames. Her tail whipped behind her as she turned looking toward Yoruichi and Tsukiro. She stepped forward blue flames dancing across her form. Yoruichi shielded her face with her arm from the heat rising from her body. Kita walked over to Tsukiro placing her massive paw to his back. The wall cracked and fell forward Tsukiro now face first into his own wall of ice. She stepped up and laid down on top of him. There was nothing of Tsukiro that could be seen. Her body now burning even hotter than before.
Tsukiro growled and snarled ferociously. He tried to buck her off his back but she was too heavy. Tsukiro discarded his swords and dug his claws into the ice wall. He cracked and broke it, causing them both to fall to the grass, Kita still laying on top of him. He sunk his claws into the soil and released his reiatsu into it. Waves of ice jumped from the ground and rained down on Kita.
"Get off of me!"
Kita yawned a huge cat yawn as the heat of her body grew hotter. The ice that erupted from the ground turned to rain misting down on top of them. She lifted one of her massive legs and looked under it at Tsukiro as he screamed out. She narrowed her eyes that glowed a bright blue and roared in his ear.
The ground, trees and air shook like the earth was being moved beneath them. She then rested her leg back down over him.
Yoruichi laughed her hands on her hips. “I guess that means no, Tsukiro.”
Yoruichi walked up to Kita. "How long can you stay there?"
Kita’s eyes went closed and she spoke to Yoruichi in her mind. “It seems to be holding him. As long as I am not fighting my strength will last. I can keep him here as long as you need.”
Yoruichi nodded and plopped down into the now frosty grass. "Alright then. Now all we do is wait until Tsukiro defeats whatever demons he's battling on the inside."
