I don't like talking about myself, so, uh...yeah. lol. I'm a major gamer, I read a lot of books (physics, math, philosophy, fantasy), watch and read some anime, and spend the rest of my time being annoyed at gravity for restricting me to being able to do only one front flip at a time.
I've posted a few of the articles/essays I've written, so if you're ever interested in reading anything that I have thought about or researched, check out my articles world, Kastom's Thoughts.
And the essentials:
Kastom's Bio:
Birth date: September 10, 1989
Sex: Male
Real Name: Tomas (Tom)
Living: Ontario, Canada
Occupation: University of Waterloo Undergraduate Physics Major
And I leave you with a quote from Adam which sums me up well:
"Kastom is very smart and wise, but sometimes he acts like a n00blet..."
So looking back on it, this was a pretty crazy week.
Monday:
Spent about 7-9 hours (not completely sure) playing this SNES game with a friend. Gemfire is a good game. lol. And this is on top of my classes and studying I did that day for...
Tuesday:
Had my last midterm in the morning. Not completely sure how it went. Could do really well, yet could also do absolutely terrible. Kinda worried.
Wednesday:
Friend wanted to go to the Student Life Center for various reasons. I figured I'd go along with since I didn't have anything else THAT much better to do. Ended up buying that Project Sylpheed.
Then had night class, ad got my midterm back from it. Turns out I aced it. 100%. So, very happy about that, lol.
But oh man, it didn't end there. I get back to my place about 10ish. Two friends and I decide to go back on campus to finish our Astro Assignments. So we're working slightly well for a bit, before Harry Potter movie comes up randomly. Then one of my friends mentions this amazing thing he's seen, called "Wizard People, Dear Reader". It's a guy who acts like a narrator, and dubs over the first Harry Potter movie, as though he's reading the book. Though he changes tons of things, and just overall makes it unbelievably funny. I swear, it's one of the most funny things I have ever seen in my life.
So it turns out it's on youtube, so he shows us a clip, and then we watch two more. Then we all just look at each other and are like, "Yeah, we're gonna watch this whole thing, aren't we?"
Which we proceed to do. We hooked up my friend's laptop to the room's projector (we were in a lecture room in the Physics building), and watched the whole thing. So freaking funny.
So now it's like, 2:30. So we continue working, and then by 4:00 I'm pretty well done the assignment, and head back home to bed.
Thursday:
Wake up at 11:00, skipping my first class that starts at 10:00. I do the last bit of my assignment, and then head to my next class at 1:00.
Oh, and when I woke up, I had a sore throat. Must've gotten it from a friend of mine that's been sick this week.
Get to class, hand in the assignment, and then leave. On the way, I realized that an hour and a half of Astrophys would not do me well right then, as I'd probably just pass out.
So come back home, and play Project Sylpheed. Begin to realize just how much this game is like Gundam SEED in so many ways.
And then get ready, and leave at 3:30.
For my soccer game. First playoff game. Intramurals playoffs its single elimination too, so if we lost, then we'd be out for the semester.
Aaaand we lost. I just personally didn't have my game in it at all. Same thing for a few of our other players. Ah well, it was a good, fun season.
One of my friends says he wants to go to Dairy Queen after the game. So six of us pile into his five seater car. Luckily two were smaller girls, so myself and my roommate in the back weren't too cramped with them with us in the back. Had ice cream. It was good for my sore throat.
Get home, eat, and begin to feel more sick. Watch an episode of Firefly, and realize that there is no way I'm doing work tonight.
Now I think I'll do something, not sure what, for a bit, then head to bed super early. Maybe take some Gravol or something to knock me out.
So I bought Project Sylpheed randomly today from the game vendors on campus. Didn't really know much to anything about the game, other than I've seen it everywhere since I bought my 360, and that it was some space shooting simulator.
But it was only $15, so I was like, "Hey, why not?"
And wow, only played the first mission, and...crap man! It's crazy! The playing is crazy intense and amazingly cool looking. And from what little story I've gotten, it seems like it's going to end up like Gundam SEED, minus the co-ordinators. No joke.
Whatever the case, should be cool.
Man, I have SO many games I own that I need to play now...
Happy he's done all of his midterms, and getting ready for finals,
- Kastom
EDIT: Also, the main character's name is "Katana". And he's voiced by Vic Mignogna. lol.
Extraversion results were moderately low which suggests you are reclusive, quiet, unassertive, and secretive.
Stability results were moderately low which suggests you are worrying, insecure, emotional, and anxious.
Orderliness results were medium which suggests you are moderately organized, hard working, and reliable while still remaining flexible, efficient, and fun.
Accommodation results were medium which suggests you are moderately kind natured, trusting, and helpful while still maintaining your own interests.
Intellectual results were very high which suggests you are extremely intellectual, curious, imaginative but possibly not very practical.
Ok, a few comments from myself on this:
1) Extraversion. This may surprise many of you, especially if you know me primarily from chat. I am actually a really introverted person. I'm just outgoing about some things.
2) More or less mediumish for inter-socialness things. About what I thought.
3) Narcissism. lol, apparently this quiz doesn't understand sarcasm. lol.
4) Romantic. Only 56%? I was expecting way higher. I have always said that I'm a sucker for a love story...
5) Avoidant. Hahahaha, I'm anti-social with low self esteem, and "does not like most people, does not think most people like them". Hahahhahaha...
6) Anti-authority. I find this one odd. If the authority is doing well in my mind, then I'm happy to follow them. But the second that I don't agree with them, I'll mutiny. I do what I want. I'm not a blind follower.
7) Cautiousness. What I figured.
8) Sexuality. lol.
9) Peter-Pan Complex. I think this one will surprise most people. (Peter Pan complex basically means someone that acts childish, etc.) I love to act childish; it's fun. But really, I am actually a very serious person about a lot of things, and can be very mature. When I want to. lol.
10) Hedonism. After reading the description of this, I was like, "Me? 50%?! Are you crazy?! It should be super low!" But then I came to realize that some of the things they were talking about had more to do with my philisophical beliefs than how I actually am or anything. Hard to explain.
11) Physically active. Yeah.
12) Religious. In the traditional sense of the word? Yeah. 10% is too high for the typical definition of that word.
13) Fiscal Acumen. I'm amazing with money. I'll admit it. lol.
14) Family drive. Yeah, I really would like to one day be a father.
15) Indie. Seems about right. I am pretty indie from the description of it.
16) Intellectual. It should be higher I think. *shot* lol.
Overall: I'm pretty impressed with this personality quiz. It's rather well done I have to admit. One of the better ones I've seen in a while.
Anyways, should get back to some studying.
Wondering how many people are going to be surprised when they see that he is actually very introverted,
- Kastom
P.S. Looking back at the overall picture this quiz paints me as, I really don't know if I think it makes me seem like an overall very good person. lol. Oh well. It's just a quiz.
EDIT: So after looking at a bunch of other people's results I see this: I have the greatest romantic and sexuality drives around?!
*shot*
EDIT AGAIN: Retook it again, got some moderately different results. The most amusing being that my narcissism went up to 77%. lol. Most things went up, with a few things like Peter Pan Complex and Histrionic going farther down. lol.
Was drinking and playing video games last night 'till like, 3, with a bunch of friends in what we called a "test" for today. lol. And now today....no idea what's going to happen, lol. Whatever happens, it's going to be good. I need a holiday right now.
Anyways, SomeGuy already said some of the important things to do today, so I won't bother mentioning any.
Happy Birthday Canada! 142 years strong!
Raising a bottle of Sleeman, and saying a "Cheers!",
