Anyways, just got into Vancouver. Was at Whistler all last week, now I'm here for a week. Business trips are fun.
lol. Business trip. It still cracks me up that I can call it that. Makes me feel all old. Hahahahahha...
So I got the weekend off, so I was skiing (well actually snowblading) both days at Whistler. And holy freaking crap, AMAZING! I spent both days only at the peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb. It was unbelievably awesome. Powder like crazy in plains of snow. Absolutely crazy. I got a bunch of pics too, I'll put them up once I get back home next week (can't get 'em off the dig cam right now). Amazing...
The actual work I'm doing is pretty cool too, considering it's for the Olympics. And crazy funny, I can't tell anyone about what I'm doing, as it's CLASSIFIED. lol. Mwhahahahha, now I can say things I do are classified! Hahahahahha...
It's nice being in hotels 'cause I can use their internet. Damn dial-up at home. Got to Movie Sign last night (wooooo). Man I miss you guys. *sigh*
Anyways, this week I'm going to try to be in the chatroom a bunch. So if anyone wants to talk and hang out and stuff, I'll be there.
Also, I have The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya on my comp, so I'm planning on watching it this week. I've heard sooooo many good things about it that I figure it's about time I watch it. Anyone else interested? Anyone that hasn't seen it, or anyone that wants to watch it again want to watch it with me (chatroom it)?
Anyways, I'm starting to get more than a little drunk, so I'm going to go see what the rest of my team is doing, or maybe play some video games. Wooooooooo!

I know I haven't been here in a while, blah, blah, blah.
Anyways, I'm going to be in Vancouver for the next two weeks. I am currently on a co-op term (I'm in co-op Physics), and am working for the Department of National Defence. It's pretty crazy. My title is "Security Operational Research Scientist". lol.
Anyways, I am working on the security for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, and am heading over there for two weeks to do a small on-site project. So I was thinking about this whole thing, and realized, "Hey! I know someone that lives in Vancouver! SomeGuy!" So SomeGuy, I was just wondering if you wanted to meet up for a coffee or something. I think it'd be pretty cool to meet someone from theO in person. I'm going to be there from January 25th, to February 8th.
Anyways, get back to me if you're interested.

Hey,
Things I just learned:
- Roommates can be very helpful, even on subjects they don't really know about
- Coat hangers are quite tough, and require wire cutters to cut properly
- Coat hanger metal is rather strong, and very good at stabilizing something
- Poking Styrofoam with a metal wire is harder than it looks
- A three hole punch is a lot like a hammer that spews dots of paper all over your room
- Tape conceals everything
- Coat hangers without the cross bar part do not in fact work as coat hangers anymore
- If you begin to take off your pants to change, but then sit down to write something on your computer, a bypassing roommate may get the wrong idea as to what you're doing
- Stalling on working on a lab to try on your anime costume is totally worth it
