Yeah so, it's me. Kastom.
It's kinda been a while. lol.
I know, I know, me disappearing is nothing new now.
I come by here every once in a while, look at a few things, read a few people's latest blogs and stuff, but I just don't feel like I can ever come back now. Weird feeling. Kinda cause I feel like I really want to come back, but at the same time, theOtaku just feels too much like a part of my life that already gone and by.
*scratches head, wry smile*
Sorry, it's kinda hard for me to explain exactly my feelings. Mainly because I'm not too clear on them myself, heh.
Funny thing though. And actually the more or less main reason I decided to post. It appears that I am now finally an Otaku Legend. Makes me feel special...hahahahaha...
Anyways, just wanted to let you all know that I still think of a lot of you, as theOtaku really was such an awesome place for me when I was here. I'm starting to think I might finally do something to make sure I get some closure for this place. It's not something I really want to do, but at the same time, I have to admit, that I'm starting to think about deleting my profile. Just so that I can finally decide to either stay or leave this place.
I probably won't do it, just because I still like coming around once in a while. And there's always the off chance that I'll somehow be able to work my way back into this place.
Hope everyone is having great lives, and I still won't say goodbye yet, as I still might come by again.

Yeah, so not really been around in a while. There are mainly two reasons:
1. Dial-up sucks. I barely use the internet now. I guess I just got too used to high speed at University, lol.
2. Bored. I'm just bored with this site. Sure, I can write articles, but now I'm starting to think, what's the point? On the old site it was for a few reasons, mainly based off of my much more time combined with my massive competitiveness. I don't know.
Basically, we'll see, but I wouldn't be surprised if I don't show up very often from now on, at least for a while. Then again, you never know, just coming here this time may re-spark my interest.
Whatever, we'll see.
On another note, finished watching Gun X Sword. It was ok. Yet again, another mediocre anime. Not great, but certainly not bad. All in all, ok.
I also started reading Berserk. Then I stopped. I read the first 15 or so volumes one day last week, and then decided that I shouldn't read it anymore. It's just such an incredibly disturbing manga. And when I read/watch things with stories, I always end up using my imagination and put myself in the story, etc. Basically, stories really affect me. But considering Berserk is, well, what it is, it was REALLY negatively affecting me. That night I just had horrible dreams about people being torn apart and raped, etc. Not fun. When done in a more "normal" way, I'm fine with that kind of horrible stuff. But Berserk just seemed to be going overboard with everything. *shudder*
Anyways, here's a cool pic of me with a flaming sword! Mwhahahaha...my brother made some wooden swords, and then last week he decided to put some camping fuel stuff on one, and burn it. Since it was basically just alcohol, it didn't burn the wood, but instead just the fuel. It looked really sweet, even though it only lasted a few seconds.
This sword does +1d6 Fire damage!! Mwhahahaha....lol....

Yeah, I'm not dead, even though I haven't been here in, what...just over a week? lol.
I got back from University, and have been really quite busy. As soon as I got back, I started getting a bunch of people from the pool I work at in my hometown phoning me. People found out I was back and wanted me to start taking shifts and stuff. lol. So after a few days of taking it easy and playing a bunch of Neverwinter Nights with my brother, I started working 10 hour days. Between guarding/teaching swimming, and working for the town doing public works stuff like raking leaves and planting grass etc. around, I am very tired, both physically and mentally.
Been doing a lot of anime-related stuff in my little spare time though. I read all of Black Cat and watched all of Ouran High School Host Club. Black Cat was meh. It was ok, but nothing really special. Host Club was simply amazing! SOOOO funny! And the main guy character, Tamaki(?) is SOO much like me! lol. If I was in an anime, I'd be like that, I swear. Just maybe a bit smarter. Hahahaha...
Now I'm watching GunXSword. Seems ok, but once again, nothing special. But eh, we'll see I suppose.
I got my Wii fixed...kinda. Smash works now, but my other Gamecube games don't. So I guess I'll have to send it in again and get it fixed properly. I only sent it in for the free Smash fix, lol, hoping that it's fix everything for free. Ah well.
I got Mario Kart Wii yesterday. Haven't played it much, but I can say these things about it:
- Steering with the wiimote IS fun, so it was worth getting the game
- the new race levels seem pretty sweet
- including some old levels from previous game = total awesomeness
- battle is still absolutely horrible, same as double dash's, seems like the developers didn't get it through their heads that the N64 version's was utterly amazing, and that double's sucked
- stupid that have to play massive maps with teams for battles
Basically, same as double dash, the racing is good, the battle sucks. Ah well, we will always have the awesomeness that it Mario Kart 64...
Anyways, I'm very, very tired and should get to bed. Tomorrow's my first day off in a while, so I'm going to take full advantage of it and just sleep, play video games, and watch anime.

Well, I'm completely done my first year of University. I had Calculus yesterday morning. And now I'm done!
But wow, what a night last night. Easily one of the craziest nights of my life.
So at about 6ish, a friend and I were playing Mario Kart. But I was drinking. There were a few others that were going to drink, but they didn't want to start until about 8 or 9ish. But yeah, had about a third to a half a bottle of rum (Captain Morgan!!....lol) within about half an hour. When we stopped, and I went to get up, the door attacked me.

And that pretty well set the mood for the night. I was really quite drunk for a good 6 or 7 hours. It was pretty crazy. Easily the most drunk I've ever been. I'm generally not one that cares to drink, but I have quite a bit before, just never this much.
So apparently a bottle of rum (the entire thing of course) can keep me drunk for that long. lol.
But man, so many things happened. And it was pretty funny because there were almost no people here, since we had an exam in one of the last possible slots. I tried to get in a clothes dryer, and actually fit, although we could only close the door for a second. We also went to the caf, and got some ice cream. We were SOOOOO loud in the caf. The whole time we were like yelling and screaming. Mostly sexual jokes about some of us were making the ice cream "hard" or "soft". lol. We all thought it was a crazy funny joke and it went on for about an hour. lol.
Oh yeah, and someone had left a mattress in the hall for some reason. So that turned out to be pretty fun.
But man, I'm SOOOOO tired right now. Got about 5 hours of sleep. I got up at like 7 (right now it's 9) because the last of the people on my floor, including my friends are leaving. Soon it'll only be me! lol. But I'm leaving tomorrow morning, so it'll just be tonight where it's creepy and lonely...
lol.
Anyways, I'm going to go play some Worms Armageddon (I've gotten re-addicted to it), then sleep for the afternoon.

Well, did a few more exams, and now I'm down to the final one. Calculus on Tuesday. And then I'll be done! Done my first year of University! Wow, it just seems so crazy. I still remember when I was first getting into high school...ah well. First year will be done, and only around...maybe 10 more years to go? lol. I'm planning on getting a PhD in physics since I want to be a Research Physicist and maybe a University Prof.
Man, it's been sooooo hot the past few days here. Gah, it's only freakin' the end of April! There should still be a bit of snow left on the ground! Today it was 25 degrees (CELSIUS KATANA, CELSIUS)! Or 298.15 KELVIN. SEE KATANA? CELSIUS AND KELVIN ARE MADE FOR EACH OTHER, EASY ADDITION/SUBTRACTION TO GET BETWEEN THEM.

It's so empty here. There are only a few people left on my floor. Most have already finished their exams. Last day of exams is the 24, and Calc is on the 22.
Ah well, I'm gonna go get some food, then get some studyin' done. I meant to do some already, but work, Death Note, and Superbad made sure that didn't happen. lol.
