Fun stuff

Hey hey,

So I guess I never mentioned it here, but last Friday I bought Borderlands.

And holy freaking crap is it a good game. If you can, GET IT. Ugh, soooo good. The FPS gameplay is extremely well done, the RPG elements of it are extremely addictive and fun, and...it's multiplayer.

So good.

Anyways, been playing that a ton. I don't really have much time each night after I get home from work; generally around 3-4 hours max before I need to be in bed, but my brother and I already have around 26 hours on Borderlands. lol. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, we played soooooo much. Ugh, it was great. I'm pretty sure we played for over 12 hours on Saturday. Man I love getting into games like that.

So yeah, that's been most of my life for the past week, lol.

Big thing to note: Katana and I have been in a relationship for six months now. Pretty crazy stuff, eh? Long distance relationships are hella hard, but we seem to be faring rather well. It's been really difficult keeping myself in check and not spending all my money on going to see her and buying her presents all the time and all the other things I want to do, but I seem to be faring at least moderately well, considering how much I like her. *laughs*

So today, I have two things I'm massively looking forward to.

One: I'm eating Pho for lunch.
...
Hey. Pho is goddamn freaking amazing. If you aren't eating it right now, you lose 26 awesomeness points.
...
Mmmmmmm...Pho....*drools at thought*

Two: House party tonight. A friend of mine also on co-op here in Ottawa and his roommates are having a house party. It's gonna be sweet. I haven't been to one in quite some time now, so I'm really looking forward to it. I know a lot of you don't like the whole "beer and partying" thing, and quite plain and simply, I often don't either. Generally I'm much more of a fan of just having a few close friends over and drinking instead. But my partying side of me likes it every once in a while, and really, it's some more or less harmless fun and you get to meet new people. Which is something I often don't generally care to do, being the recluse I am *laughs*, but once again, it's fun to do every so often.

Anyways, that's more or less my life right now: Kat, games, work (which is boring), and some partying. Oh, and of course sitting on theO pretty much all day at work (because it's boring).

Wants to go eat Pho so badly,

P.S. Apparently I've almost completely forgotten about writing for the Winter contest. Hmmmm, lol. I just need to get the initial bit written, and then I'm sure I'll start frantically writing it. So in other words: I'm still planning on doing it!

*laughs*

ADDENDUM: I just got back from eating Pho. Man, I ate soooo much. This is the closest to throwing up from eating too much I've ever been. And I totally don't regret it. Mmmmmmmm...

Also, I decided to stop by the comic book shop on my way back to work. I almost got a Zelda wristband (I so far have 5 different ones, I want at LEAST one different one for each day of the week), but ended up not because it was smaller than the usual size (like heightwise, it was weird). Then on my way out I saw a Yoko pillow (whatever those things are called), and was like, "Mayb....no. Even as a joke this would be just creepy."

*laughs*

I just thought it might be funny to have one. I'm sure I could think of all kinds of pranks and the like to pull on people with it. But then again, just HAVING one of those is more than a little creepy.

That and I rather like having Kat still like me/Kat not beating me up.

*shot*

Oh dear, I just keep digging myself a grave, don't I?

*laughs*
